Every week I help out my 92 year old neighbor put out/in her trash bins. She’s a gardener and still grows a lot of her fruits and vegetables, and she always insists on paying me and of course I say no. We’ll sometimes a 92 year old won’t hear of it (she literally wears a hearing aid...) and I’ve agreed to let her pay me in whatever she happens to be growing. Struck up a conversation with the guy sitting next to me on my flight (mainly because I noticed he had two saxophones with him).
