What's a crisis team? Thank you in advance for your answer :3
A crisis team are a group of professionals that handle psychiatric emergency patients. They may be psychiatrists, counselors, social workers, nurses, and so forth. They evaluate patients and determine the level of care needed. The crisis team works with the medical care providers. The "team" can be notoriously late/long wait in some hospitals, have a lot of patients waiting for an evaluation, or just MIA with no explanation. Some hospitals have begun "mobile outreach" programs where a crisis team goes out to an individual's house to do a quick screening. This quick evaluation determines the next steps to take with treatment and is supposed to reduce the number of patients occupying beds in the ER/A&E.
