Like they turned a bad time that I got over in like an hour into a week long event that gave me more issues to deal with when they kinda just coulda left me alone and let me actually dress my shit and heal up better and get a job and insurance and shit but nah let's disturb you with how genuinely hopeless everything is first and make you responsible for the wellbeing of an entire involuntary inpatient ward. Shoulda paid me for that shit I had the schizo peckerwood admitting racism is bad and taking his medicine its not that hard its called "explaining to them why they're here and treating them like a human being so they dont keep freaking out and going back into the schizo hole". I helped 2 mentally ill hillbillies fall in love. I turned an Instagram rapper who though he was Jesus into a guy that can actually write a bar and likes taking his medicine so he can chill. These people were in there for 14 fucking days before I got there with literally 0 progress im just appalled. My roommate's feet were burnt because he didn't have any shoes and they didn't give him any before I made one of the nurses go get him some. I had to have a whole ass argument and chase down his doctor (who was making fun of him) just to get them to consider mayyyybe giving him an antipsychotic and helping him finally go to sleep after he'd been awake for a week straight? He was too schizo and quiet to communicate well/ stand up for himself and it was disturbing how horribly they treated him considering he was completely nonviolent and honestly really sweet. Fuck that. Disgusting how "Healthcare workers" can sit around and just watch this shit happen like that all day and do literally nothing.
I feel like I just fucking went on a literal spiritual mission what the fuck is happening over there let my people go and stop making them worse. Maybe the nazi wasnt "my peopl" but in general most the really insane people there were ok before they got abused by the system for months on end
