Harry stops the car in front of his apartment,unlocking the electronic doors before raising his eyebrows at Chloe. She looksback at him, as he’s not turning off the motor or making any indication ofgetting out himself.

“You gonna get out, or what? You’ve got a key,right?”

“Got plans without me?” Chloe asks, crossingher arms in front of her chest and cocking her head at Harry. “Should I bejealous?”

“Absolutely. The woman I’m meeting is about 60years old and a stone cold fox.”

This is only vaguelly fluffy BUT I’m gonna write a second part with smut and this verse will be open for more requests of the “growing old together” variety ;)

Harry woke up in pain.

It was, unpleasantly enough, a pleasant surprise considering the alternative.  The pain itself wasn’t particularly bad, just dully present and nagging, dragging him into wakefulness even though he just wanted to keep sleeping. His mind was wrapped in cotton or at least it felt like some cotton had been shoved into his skull. Distantly he hoped that that was not the case. He could vaguely remember holding a grenade with it’s pin missing.

There was a thin crack going through the white ceiling he was staring at. This seemed to be the case for all ceilings late. There seemed to be something wrong with his eyes. For one thing, he could barely keep them open for the blinding light and his field of vision seemed… narrower somehow.

He could have sworn that he had died, but if this was hell it was kind of nice. No one was actively trying to kill him for one, or beating the shit out of him. In fact, it looked just like any hospital he had ever been to, some more fancy than others and this one seemed to be somewhere in between nice and nasty.

There was an annoying beeping grating on his nerves and trying to push the cotton outward, putting pressure against the back of his eyes and making his head hurt. He moved his head, looking around the rest of the room. Maybe someone could make that noise stop. He didn’t feel like moving at all.

Sam breathed in deep through his nose, dragging his lips up the length of Rafe’s neck. 

“You feel that?” He asked despite knowing Rafe wouldn’t say a thing. And when nothing did come as expected, Sam began to mouth against the pulse beneath heated skin until he felt its steady rhythm stutter.

The grin that pulled his lips back and revealed his teeth was wolfish, hungry - like this was his last meal and the other man was downright beyond delectable.

Prey that’s been seasoned just the right way.

If Rafe noticed the intensity of Sam’s expression pressed to his throat he hid it well by keeping his silence… Difficult to find words when Sam made keeping his eyes open after what felt like hours spent between sheets an endless battle - one he did not intend fleeing from.

Harry opened his eyes, confused, but only briefly. They were still moving—ah, in the limo, got it—but they were slowing down, gradually stopping.

He started to stretch, a habit upon first waking, when he realized Nate was still asleep, and still curled against him. Closer than before, much to Harry’s surprise. He glanced down, heart warming when he saw that their fingers were still tangled.

Stupid, he thought. You’re being stupid. You know it doesn’t mean anything to him, so don’t go mucking this up by making it more than it is, Flynn.

Still, he couldn’t resist the urge to give Nate’s hand an affectionate squeeze.

Tiny SamxRafe thought: When Rafe gets badly ill, for the first few days he acts tough and continues to work as if nothing bothers him, and of course Sam notices but Rafe refuses to rest or take medicine, but eventually ends up in bed, becoming very clingy and needy of Sam, calling him every few minutes.
