Scans for an upcoming zine series I’m working on called Instants. The premise is that I shoot two packs of instant film (FP100c and Instax Wide) and then pick my favorite ten images from each outing and put them into a limited edition (of 13) zine. Expect physical copies available in a few weeks.

Found these negatives today.  

I made this little house for myself last year around my birthday. Today is the first time i looked at the negatives. 2014

Processed some new images today. 

I’ve decided to press on with this project despite initial unpleasantness and I have rolls and rolls of film with new images shot in 2014, and processed by an excellent lab en route. Be on the lookout for that ya?

This was the second photograph I ever took when I was still figuring out what I wanted to do with my project, As Best I Can Remember. It was the only time I ever had a real person dress up as a memory. Another tidbit is that it was one of the last photographs I ever did a test shot for with instant film and we can see Ej sans mask holding a light meter.

These are the last five shots I took with Fuji FP-100C45. 2012

Fuji had discontinued their FP-100C45 by the time I realized it I only had 7 shots left along with the prints that I still had in my possession (few). FP-100C45 for me at least was the test film it was never meant to be permanent, but now as a species it enters the long silence that is extinction. 2012
