Sophie up not knowing her mother, her father was her whole world, a mountain of a man but as gentle as a summer breeze. Although money was tight she never went without, there was always a good hot meal, good clothes and birthdays & Christmas were amazing. Her father worked many hours as a blast tech but he always made time for his little angel.  Life was great but all that changed when Sophie turned 18.  It was a hot summer afternoon, Sophie had just finished her shift at the local deli when she returned home to find the police waiting for her. After letting them in her world was devastated. Her father had been killed by a drunk driver on his way to work. He had let her use the car so she would be safe, and now he was dead was the only thing her mind could process.  The world lost its colour and its meaning for many months... The house she had shared with him became her safe space from the world outside...  It wasn't till the following summer that she felt like opening the mail... By this time there was a huge pile, many contained  cards saying how sorry people were about her father. Those caused tears that made her stop opening more mail. Days later she started again, being careful only to open the ones that looked important. Among the bills and bank statements was one in bright a purple envelope. She turned it back and forth in her hand before finally opening it... Inside was a letter telling her that her father had died with a life insurance policy worth nearly 1M simoleans and that she was the sole beneficiary... This is the story f what happened next...
