…Yeah, I am dealing with sickness and negativity, but I can’t brain over any of my current projects, and after some talks with some friends, I think it’s time I overcome my anxiousness to ship after meeting with people who are actually pretty chill with OTPs they don’t agree with. So here is one of my faves, Wolf x Leon. Do they have a ship name?? Because I don’t know what it is.
Bit by the last moment doodle bug. I need to fix the anatomy when I have a day off, or redraw the whole thing but here are some super rough domestic Pigdross doodles with Andrew (I'm really disgusted at the anatomy, so I cant wait until I get home to my big tablet and re-sketch the whole idea.)

This is a temporary posting with rough sketches. When I have a day off I will pretty up this draft and fix all of the errors and perhaps fix anatomy issues. But this is a part of my new mini series for my favorite ships of SF.
The languages of love: touch (PigDross), acts of service (WoLeon), quality time (FalKatt), and I'm deciding Gifts giving but I have time to consider which ship fits it.
I was a little shocked on twitter today when one of the Andrew stans that I follow expressed some sort of like... dislike over a headcanon of mine where Andrew was being cared for by Pigma and Andross (It was a temporary custody, and Pigma and Andross just co-parented a bit for like seven months to a year [not in any romantic way. Just to get Andrew healthy again. However, they do refer to Andrew as 'their boy' since they got insanely attached to him in that short amount of time and will continue to care about him all the way up until the Lylat Wars]).
Basically, they said that it's a huge issue for a canon/pre-existing character to be raised by a homosexual couple.
And I know they're talking about my headcanons because they did leave a like on the Pigdross headcanons I posted but didn't retweet them. So, they read it, liked it enough for perhaps my art, but didn't like the thought behind it.
I get being protective of your favorites, but that kind of took me by shock since I usually get along with this person. It's not like Andrew *stays* with them (Unless I wanted to explore that route which I won't), and I never stated that Andross and Pigma become a couple in the Ker AU (they're still in that gray area even with all of the gay implications they radiate like the sun). I also get having certain views or rules on about canon characters vs original characters.
I'm not of valuing other people's opinions over the internet, but it was kind of a shock. I hope I didn't offend them for literally something as silly as this... But who knows.
Hm... From now on, I might post Pigdross + Andrew stuff exclusively to Tumblr. I don't want to run the risk of offending anyone any more than I already have.

Ok, THIS. This I have been wanting to talk about, I wanna poke at this and see what happens, just, just a little bit. Leave 'em in a room and see who does what.
Andross to me, can only love obsessively, or not at all. The only acception to that, is Andrew, but even that, it doesn't seem that for all Andrew looks up to and wants to embody Andross, that Andross really cared much for him. Andross' love is very all to an unhealthy extreme or nothing. We see this with the older take on Vixy Reinard from I think the Nintendo Power Comics pre Star Fox 64, Andross was so obsessed with her that he tried to kill her husband and father of her child, and got her by mistake. Still, that obsession still falls to James and Fox, because Andross is obsessed with them too.
With that in mind, sticking Andross with Pigma of all people, who has sold out people he's known for years because he was offered enough cash, I can't say my curiosity is unfounded. But, saying that, Pigma and Andross still aren't good for each other, they aren't necessarily in a relationship, neither of them want to put a label on it for various reasons, but Pigma and Andross to work closely together, through their creation of Star Wolf, the Wolfens, and depending on the continuity, they used to work together before Andross' banishment.
Pigma is more physically possessive, mostly because he doesn't want his paychecks to stop, so he'll put up with the rest of Star Wolf if it means he gets to line his pockets, and cozying up with the boss man just to really make sure that money doesn't stop wouldn't hurt. Andross, just kind of looms, if he feels Pigma is being distracted by a specific person, most of the time, that person disappears shortly thereafter. Andross knows that Pigma is just there for the money, and that's fine, but he can stand to hold a conversation with Pigma, even if Pigma is(to him) beneath him. Everyone in the Lylat System is beneath him, he's the legendary Andross, after all. Might as well find someone he can stand to be around, plus, no one will ever replace Vixy for him, but having the attention, in the very depths of his most private lab, is nice. Hand on the hip there, maybe being called something sweet, Pigma can be a bit of a charmer, if only to further his own monetary based agenda.
Overall, I do like this ship, mostly because Andross and Pigma can be horrible together, and I wanna see what makes it all fall apart. Like a trainwreck you know is coming, but can't look away from, 7/10.
