Hello Everyone! We've been thinking about doing another event and wanted to know what you guys were thinking of. If you have any ideas for something like an AU or a dance or a tournament. What ever you guys are thinking of send it in and we will definitely discuss it!

Built in 1624, Maidenbrook Castle was initially attended to be the home for the royal family of Old Russia, the Leshevs. But when the family mysteriously disappeared within the castle walls, it was taken over by their neighboring country. When the world became modern and more democratic, Maidenbrook was lost in time. It was taken over by the elements and was erased from the maps.

Recently, in the year 2310, the castle was found by a group of explorers and was excavated. Soon after, countries around the globe suffered from domestic and foreign attacks, spies finding their way in and out of government buildings and top secret information being leaked into the media.

The world has now resorted back to the ways of the early civilizations and elected a king and queen to rule. The royal families are now beginning to question how safe being in the public eye is for their children. King Pedro and Queen Isabella of Spain, discovered Maidenbrook on an old map and found the location suitable as a place where they could send their children so they may grow up with out any pressures of the outside world. Soon after they sent their children to the unexplored castle, the nations of the world continued. Now the Princesses and Princes of the world will grow up together. The technology being developed the kings and queens assistants have been taken from the Princesses and Princes so they have no contact with the outside world, yet some of them have stolen it from their protectors and kept it hidden. If they use it a signal is broadcasted to the ruler of their countries. Some of the princesses and princes aren’t afraid of it. They don’t want to be stuck in the middle of nowhere. They don’t want to be trapped in royalty.

They want out.

  The Mystery of Maidenbrook

The original family that built Maidenbrook castle disappeared with in its own walls. No records were ever found saying that there were any struggles or deaths inside the castle yet the last record was dated in 1638. The servants to the family at that time denied any wrong doing but their assistant adviser, who kept the castle up and running, fled and was never heard from again. Did he have something to do with their disappearance? Or was he running from the same thing that took his leaders away? 

The modern day Princesses, Princes and Protectors do not know much about the castle except for a select few who take an interest in history. People who were not originally involved in the search for the answer may be in more danger than those looking high and low.

As the castle is being prepared for the new royalties of the world, servants and helpers have witnessed objects being moved and thrown about rooms and people going MIA. They believe the spirits of the original inhabitants of Maidenbrook, the Leshevs, may still be roaming the castle. 

Hello Everyone and Good Morning/Afternoon! There a few little things to talk to you guys about before we open!

And here they are!

Official opening time will be 7 pm EST/4 pm PST tonight! So please send in your blogs! We have some of them but we have about 5 of you that have not sent them in so please do! We have updated the follow list so go follow everyone! 

We (the Mods) have decided to alter the main plot just a little bit. The full plot page will be updated as soon as that post is made. The change has to do with the history of the castle, not with the present royalty living in the castle. So don't worry! It will just be adding more opportunities for plotting and stuff along that line!

Please if you have any other questions about opening tonight please ask! We are always happy to answer! 

Hello there! Mods Jem and Scout here, and we just wanted to make a couple of little notes.

When looking through the applications, as we do, (Great job, by the way! Keep them coming! Tomorrow is opening day!) Mod Jem noticed that one of the applications was written about something that could be very triggering to other roleplayers, as well as herself. So we just wanted to make a little post regarding triggers, for those who aren't aware of them.

Triggers are words/images that can cause revivals of bad feelings or memories for a person, as well as anxiety and panic attacks. Some examples are suicide, self-harm, abuse, food, divorce, etc. If you are writing about these things, or reblogging images including any of these, that's fine. We just want you to please put them under a read-more if you can, and tag with "TW: [insert trigger here]". If you can't put it under a read-more, simply tag it. If you do't know if what you're writing/reblogging is a trigger, simply ask a mod or a fellow rper. This is greatly appreciated, as we want no harm coming to our roleplayers. (Or mods for that matter!) 

A few other notes that we would like to talk you all about. 

Again, looking through the auditions we have noticed that most of you have not been filling out the password column in the application form. You MUST read the rules before auditioning as for the fact that there are many important things, such as rules about casting and readmores and such From this point on we will NOT be accepting anymore auditions that do not include the password.

Another note about the para samples in the auditions as well. We have decided that para sample in the upcoming auditions MUST be from the point of view of the character you are applying for and can not be a "trigger" as mentioned above. 

People who have been casted, please send in your accounts by tomorrow night so we can put them on the follow list. If your account is not sent in by tomorrow night at the start of posting your role will be reopened.

Princess Sofia is a bit of an oddball. She's very spacey, her mind is all over the place most of the time. The doctors don't know what's wrong with her, but they know something's wrong with her. She is known to go off on tangents that have nothing to do with the conversations you were actually having with her. You get used to it, mostly. She is a very kind girl, and her heart is in the right place in the end.

Born Princess Evangeline Peters, it was clear from a young age that William wasn't content with the body he was born with. He was always stealing boys clothes from the servants, and refusing to do 'ladylike' activities, like attend sewing lessons and cooking classes. He always wanted to fight, and managed to pick up fencing in secret when he was eleven years old. Puberty was a nightmare for William. He was becoming feminine, and he hated himself for it. It caused him to fall into a deep depression for many years. It wasn't until he was thirteen that he came out to his parents as transgender. His father was proud to have gained a son, but his mother still struggles with losing her daughter. She still mixes up names and pronouns from time to time. His siblings, however, have made the adjustment completely.

William has yet to start testosterone, and hopes that he can soon. He dreams of the day that he turns eighteen so that he can get his top surgery.
