Maybe Zane is naturally an assholish person or maybe he became this way because every aspect of him is constantly belittled and made fun of by the people around him and forced to do things he didn’t want to so he developed a bitter exterior to drive people away and lessen the hurt like name a consistent time in any of mystreet where Zane is there and characters/narrative aren’t making jokes at his expense.
