As much as I love angsty apathetic dadbastian where Sebastian only plays the part of father, Sebastian fully accepting dadhood while Ciel still hates him is hilarious.

Ciel going “no he doesn’t see me that way I’m just food to him” meanwhile Sebastian is buying human parenting books and a world’s greatest dad mug for himself.

Ciel doing paperwork: “he’s staring at me with that empty look in his eyes again. I wish he’d stop pretending he has emotions”

Sebastian: “Look at my boy being all independent and doing his work. That’s good for children! Isn’t he the cutest most smartest baby ever! I should bring him a snack in case he gets hungry.”

How did this happen? Idk. Sebastian woke up one day to realize this soul has somehow pressed all of the instinctual buttons that send him from “four course meal” to “youngling in need of nurturing”. And instead of fighting it, he decides to just give in.
