This last weekend I preached at church. I had procrastinated actually making the powerpoint even though I knew the subject. I ended up getting up at 1am to "finish" the project thinking I would be able to get a little sleep in later. Nada. I was rushing to put the final touches on  the presentation right up until I had to get ready. The price of procrastination.

I spoke about how we grow up with so many influences and many times we are told by (sometimes) well meaning  adults things that simply aren't true. No one wakes up and says, "Gee, I think I'll believe lies today."

One family friend was told that he would never amount to anything, by his mother of all things. Over and over I might add. Do you think this impacted his life? Most assuredly. While he consciously disagrees with it...(follow the link to the main blog)
