I had been intending on writing up articles but I’ve decided instead that I’m going to shoot videos on different subjects. 

As mentioned previously, we are looking to bring back the T Chronicles, which was originally marketed for a newspaper idea. We will be turning T Chronicles into a full scale magazine. In order to do this we need plenty of content from YOU the community!  Here are a few of the Articles which we were looking to include in our first issue; 

EOAGH: A Journal of the Arts (http://eoagh.com/) invites submissions for a special issue dedicated exclusively to CREATIVE WRITING BY TRANS WOMEN, edited by Trace Peterson, co-editor of Troubling the Line: Trans and Genderqueer Poetry and Poetics. We are looking for work from EVERY GENRE: Prose, Poetry, Poetics, Fiction, Nonfiction, Erotica, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Mystery, Fan Fiction, Memoir, Essay, Review, or anything else you can think of. Mixed-genre or multi-genre writing is welcome and encouraged. How do we define “trans women”? You, in submitting writing for this project, would identify as such.

I’m currently doing a documentary project for my college course and I thought I’d create something that informs audiences of what transgender representation means in the media. However I’m not sure exactly where I want this study to go.  At first I was concentrating on something that would discuss cis actors playing trans roles but I thought it could be a little too opinionated and I wouldn’t know where to look to get both sides of the story.

Basically I want to discover the opinions of my interviewees and what they feel is important for the future of transgender representation in films, tv etc. I know it’s a little general at the moment but thats also where I’d like to ask for help.

There are so many factors I know I need to consider, and for a 5 -8 minute film, I really want to get it right. I’m not aiming for an opinionated conclusion out of it, but more rather a showcase of opinions for an audience, and for myself, to think about.

it’s been almost a week, and i still can’t stop thinking about this quote. i wanted to make this as a type of support and reminder through all this tragedy, that no matter what they do to us. we deserve to LOVE, we deserve to LIVE, and we deserve to EXIST in a world where so much is against us. 

part of the profits made from these will be donated to the victims in orlando. it’s been a long week, but i know this quote from @linmanuel really stuck with me the whole time. good words, man.
