i’m thinking that apex games participants likely have to sign over the use of their likeness along with filling out the next of kin info and liability waivers, which would make sense - the apex corp probably draws in way more money from merchandise sales than they spend on paying champions, if we’re assuming that watching the apex games is a planetary system-wide pastime like watching baseball or something
