minji could feel the lightened tension in the room after having mentioned she could do the job. she didn’t mind rush jobs at all anyway and with the confirmation of his help, she wasn’t worried in the slightest; especially when he mentioned he worked part time in a floral shop. that only meant there would be less finishing touches she may have to correct, if any at all, unlike any time she would ask her brother to help her (hence the need for laminated instructions). her eyes brightened at the comment of wedding culture with Hindus; she was happy to know now as she’d always thought otherwise, ❝ then i suppose it’s not a shame after all, and actually a blessing. ❞ a short chuckle emerged from her lips. ❝ so tell me.. ❞ she started, trying to find a way to not sound rude, but she just happened to notice his defined forearms in addition to his looks, he just didn’t seem the type to be in the wedding industry. ❝ what brought you into working for the wedding industry? i don’t mean to come off as rude, you just.. Don’t look like most of the people i see. ❞
" definitely a blessing in disguise right now. “ seojun chuckled. “ the sky just decided to open up and start pouring mid-setup so it’s bought us a little bit of extra time in getting these done since we had to switch over to plan b and pull everything inside. “ he said. his hands moved almost unconsciously, doing a task that they had done probably hundreds of times over the past year or so. hearing her question he laughed lightly. “ my mom’s an event planner. she does mainly weddings, but every once and awhile picks up company parties, release events, those kind of things. i’ve been doing it since i was. . . “ pausing for a moment, he tried counting back the years. “ fifteen? maybe sixteen? and i enjoy it. “ he shrugged lightly. “ i like helping people create and execute what is hopefully one of their top three best days of their lives. i’d hope it’d land in number one, but i’m sure their first kid may be able to knock it out of first. and i’m totally okay with that. “ he smiled before gesturing to her with a tied off bouquet. “ why flowers? “ he asked.
