Obviously stunned by the way he snapped at the waitress in his sarcastic but subtle way, Ahrem felt a little more at ease now for having him stand up for her but it doesn’t overcome the fact that he took pity on her too. It ruins her pride honestly and she disliked help that was given out so freely without any hidden cost. That’s not how life works. “Thanks … But I just …” And before she could carry on, her stomach grumbled for not having eaten anything for the past half hour or more, instantly her cheeks flaring up in embarrassment. “That wasn’t my stomach!” she was quick to explain but it was pretty much obvious that it was. “Fine … we’ll share a meal and we’ll split the bill. Okay?” It wasn’t like they were on a date for real. Just two strangers sharing a meal.

                        Jae was a certified asshole & it could be shown by how he spoke to the waitress. Add that with good looks & you have a recipe for trouble. Trouble that always seemed to catch up with him sooner or later. Though, this wasn't trouble — he was doing something nice even if it has kind of malicious intent. He just wanted to make the female's night better & he was sure he made her at ease just a bit. "It's okay," he chuckled at how her stomach growled, scooting into the booth as he skimmed through the menu. He was a bit hungry himself but this was about her, not him. Though, splitting the bill didn't sound too bad. "We can share the meal but I'm paying in full & you're just going to have to deal with it. Consider it... a loan you'll never have to repay. What's it called ? A grant."

Ahreum breathed out a frustrated sigh, looking rather pathetic than her pride would allow and for her to voice out something simple like that only meant she was close to breaking down. And it’s only been the first few days of the week. “Thank you …” she murmured, hiding her face in his chest momentarily as she wrapped her arms around his waist. A moment of weakness from her. A moment of affection from him. “I really needed this …”

                        Again, Jae wasn't good at comforting others. He could have his parents to blame for rarely ever showing any conditional love in the household. He could also blame the fact that he, himself, was just an awkward soul. Either way, it didn't matter. What mattered was Ahreum — she was sad & it wasn't his job to cheer her up but he needed it. He furrowed his brows as a hand ran his fingers through her hair. "It's okay... what's up ? Who's ass do I have to beat ?"

                    when sangmin met the other, he never thought that things would end up like this. it’s like he tried so hard to tell himself he wasn’t attracted to her to begin with. the constant pushing his feelings to the side to end up with them the way they were amazed him. now she had him wrapped around her little finger and he was more than okay with that. he was a very independent person usually, told himself that he didn’t need anyone or even need a relationship. now he couldn’t imagine his life without anna by his side. sangmin shook his head a little before he kissed the top of her head softly. “you’re not putting me in danger, baby. i know you may think that but it’s all going to be okay. it’s been okay up until now so there’s no reason it wouldn’t be anymore,” he mumbled, his tone soft and quiet to try and show that he was calm about it all and that she should be too. he wasn’t worried. “i love you too, anna. so much.”

                      Anna's not the type to keep her attraction a secret. If she likes someone, she will let them know. She doesn't believe in rejection nor in being rejected because, well... she's Anna. Everyone loves her but the one who mattered most was Sangmin. To have him wrapped around her little finger was something that was expected, she had everyone under her guise. Though, she had never meant to drag Sangmin into the dangerous world that she played a part in & that was why once she knew that their feelings were real that it was something beyond her control. Anna wasn't one to depend on anyone but she found herself depending on Sangmin at times. He was her rock. "I just want to keep you safe," she mumbled as she furrowed her brows at how calm & collected he was. It scared her to think that he was her weakness. That she had a weakness. "I love you so much more.... you know that, right ?"

haein felt a surge of pride course through her veins. it was always good to know that she could pleasure her husband well. she worried less about him straying his eyes elsewhere, not that she would ever believe jaehyun to be capable of doing that. “mmm,” she murmured, her leg finding its way to wrap around his waist. “yes, a thousand times, but i don’t know. will you be able to handle it?” she gave him a playful poke to his cheek before leaning into kiss him. “can you even handle a second round, love?” she looked to him, winking teasingly.

                      Jaehyun had eyes for Haein & Haein only. There was no one else he'd rather be with at the very moment if it wasn't her. He'd rather be alone than spend a lifetime without her. That was how he felt. He had let out a chuckle at her words & made a face at her. "I can most definitely handle it. I may be pushing thirty but it does not mean I'm any less healthy," he responded as he returned the kiss given to him. He then took the initiative to hover over her with a tilt of his head, his hands on either side of her head. "Is that a challenge ? 'Cause you know I most definitely do not turn down one."

                      Jae wasn't really an affectionate kind of guy. It was why he stood awkwardly for a moment before eventually wrapping his arms around Ahreum. Once he did, he let her rest her head against his chest & ran his hand up & down her back. He'd never admit it but he had a soft spot for her.
