It was really disturbing and gross but I loved it so much. I find the whole deal with Nikki being separated from the wish really interesting, especially cause she remembers what happens when she's not in control, and basically just has to watch what happens while being unable to do anything about it. It's a trope I really like in media, and I think it was done really well here

ESPECIALLYYYY the scene where she's asking Bear to kill her because the wish is asleep and she knows that one of them dying will break the wish. Genuinely sent the worst chills down my spine omfg. She has to be quiet and can't move and she's begging him to just kill her and he just slowly walks away,, the idea of holding even a bit of hope that the person you were once friends with who basically forced your mind to take a backseat so he could just live out his dreams of you two being together will have the humanity to put you out of your misery, only to watch him walk away while you beg is so sick and I felt so awful watching it

THE SILHOUETTE SCENES. OMG. Nikki has so many scenes where she's just her silhouette and it's so uncanny I can't yo. Watching her stand there completely shadowed from the light and having to brace for what she's gonna do next had me stressed out

The cat. I felt sick to my stomach hearing Sarah say "your lunch stinks, dude." And then following it by reading the note that says "What's the verdict: Cat?" Or wtv dude. And then seeing the meat in the sandwich that's definitely rotting by now,,, I almost wanted to vomit with Bear

Speaking of the cat, I love love love how the movie starts and ends with those pills. The deaths starting with the cat and circling back around to end with Bear is so good.

And then the end scene when the wish is broken cause Bear died. Nikki's screams over the lovely song is such a good juxtaposition, and you can really tell how much this whole situation affected her mentally, cause (if we're going off the idea that she can only watch whats happening) shes basically just watching as she gets raped, kills two of her friends, and has the last one die from overdose in her arms. And she's just left to now have to deal with all of that alone. Consequences of actions she didn't commit, and people definitely won't even believe her if she says "no I was under a spell that made me obsessed with a guy and it killed my friends" cause that just sounds straight up insane
