OOC: This has gotten me thinking again, I could really test out some good ideas with something like this. Whether I win this or not, I'll use this as motivation to get this blog back in shape.
  It’s a serious question, why is it the norm for us to choose our special talent, when we’re still learning about who we are and what all there is in the world? We just go about our childhood, being expected to make our decisions blindly, enough so that we often latch out at whatever random event/thing that comes along. Not that it’s all bad from that, for plenty of ponies it’s these moments in our childhoods that motivate who we are and what we do. But seriously, a single event of our childhood, a mere instant of our lives, brands us with our job, our passion, our future…
   So what’s wrong with being a blank flank, somepony who hasn’t found the thing that makes them special? They still can have talents and skills, and even careers… they just haven’t fully figured what really defines who they are.
   On the other side, the thing ponies seem to forget sometimes, is that a cutie mark is merely a symbol of who we are, a trademark of ourselves. It’s something worn like a tattoo or a piece of clothing, something we should be proud of showing off in public. It’s something that we own, and we determine the value of it, never the other way around.
   So just remember this if you are a blank flank or just meet one, or if you ever question your own cutie marks meaning.

Would'ya accept a Koppelthorn Engine as a donation? I hear it boosts VR simulation calculation and algorithms a great deal and helps you traverse universes via virtual reality simulator. Though be careful with finding anomalies and please avoid interaction with Jappleack and Appelox at all costs... If you do, it may cause the universe to crash or implode into itself and erase any and all realities... Forever...
While it's a very nice gesture, I think I'm going to have to turn you down on that offer. I'm finally getting to fine tuning my own system, now dubbed project Infinite Ponyverses, and adding a complete new engine, regardless of it's performance, would set the overall project back further.
In terms of Jappleack, I've heard of her and her multiverse, but it seems that the "widespread" effect of disappearing universes is constrained to a fairly limited subset of everywhere I've seen so far.
I've seen a bit of what your universe is like from afar, but I think I'll stop by and visit once I help out this one Fluttershy with a small problem of hers.

Well as far as I can tell, it's similar to how virtual reality is supposed to work. Technically, I'm still in my universe, but I'm fully immersed into wherever I'm "traveling". So I suppose it's a portal of consciousness, but I guess it also is a tether?Â

So yeah, I'm Trainmon. I'm a game developer, and recently, I've been working on a virtual reality machine.
