She had wished to comment on his first statement yet arched back a few inches, straightening her back when he asked his question.

”I— well, I’m just on a journey to learn about the world. I was…in one place my whole life and I never really got out much. I want to learn and see so much, to experience things beyond my home rather than just read about them in books. I’m not sure where I’m going exactly but I’m enjoying every step of the way.”

Oh. Oh. She left her home because she wanted to. The thought had never occurred to Frosk, that he could just leave if he felt like exploring. (But then again, he had no way of knowing how confining a lone tower could be; the forests of his homeland were vast and all of it home to him).

He had a lot of questions to ask, most of all; why had that never occurred to him? "That is...a very noble reason to set out on a journey," he concluded with an affirming nod. "I do not know much about the world; you have read books but I only had tapestries."

He canted his head, just a bit, to the side.

"What have you learned?" he asked.

It really irritates me when canon roleplayers treat my OC as a prop to show off how strong/scary/merciful/fast their canon is. I’ve spent my time and energy trying to bring life to my OC, only for the canon’s mun to expect me to have my OC roll over and die/run away screaming/be afraid to cross their canon.
