Golden Flower

I've been skirting around this issue for days. I was thinking about it for the longest time actually.

It's really breaking my heart to say and I don't even know how to organize my thoughts and say it properly.

But I am here to state that I'm going to quit role playing all together.

This isn't me throwing in a towel or just "hey I'm going to make a new muse" the way I've been doing for years now but to actually stop completely.

I know it's really sudden, and out of the blue, and I'm really really sorry. There are so many of you I feel I am disappointing by saying this, or if not I still know you guys are the very best to have put up with me for so long and still do and yet here I am dropping out from tumblr nearly completely.

I just can't keep up anymore. I just spent the past couple of days NOT logging in to Rapunzel because I've been so tired from work and stressed that all I wanted to do was crawl into bed and sleep. And it didn't help that I felt a little down and rping didn't feel like the pick me up I needed.

Don't think you guys are stress or doing replies is a burden but it's because you're all so amazing that I sit and think "how can I reply that will match what they've written?" Even smaller replies were becoming more difficult to do.

But this isn't the reason I need to stop doing this. As my birthday draws near, I was slowly coming to a realization that there are things I should be doing that I've been putting off. Story ideas I wanted to write and a magazine project I wanted to get off the ground. I need to get out and lose some weight, I need to get myself out a rut I keep putting myself under because I keep putting myself down about so much and I feel that role playing is me just kicking it to the side only for it to return when I log out for the night.

I know I am going to miss this so much though - I'll get the desire to log in again, to see how everyone is doing. Please kick me off if I do this.

I'm really going to miss everyone, I'm going to miss role playing as my muses and just role playing in general. All the friendships I've made here were wonderful, whether we only talked for a little bit, didn't talk anymore or only talk sometimes.

Don't ever forget that you're wonderful okay? Please - even if I'm not around, you're all the very best and I'll miss you.

"Mm.." She was comfortable enough.. But it didn’t hurt to have more heat around. Just so long as it wouldn’t be too hot. “Might be.” She nodded a little. “Do you need help with that?” She asked.

                      ❝Well--                           Kinda..I mean I can try to carry you while I light the fire?❞ While she smiled, there was a serious undertone in her voice, muscles coiling to get up and pick her up in her arms.

Eiko blinked for a moment. “…But it’s a bit cold right now. I’m wearing long sleeves already, but I’m still cold. …Sorry for coming in here without asking. Do you want me out?” She asked. Rapunzel, huh? Hm~

                   How could she refuse a child?

                   Blonde head giving a small shake. Her body was hopefully giving enough warmth to the little one (legs curling closer to her body as if unconsciously wrapping around the child to provide more protection against the cold). She had a desire to rub Eiko's back to cause the necessary friction to heat her up more. ❝No, you don't have to move. I just hope I'm warm enough. But I can always try to build a fire instead? That might be warmer.❞

The young girl looked down from where the older girl was peeking in. She smiled a little. One would have to be really dense to have not notice someone in the sweater with them. “My name is Eiko. Nice to meet you, miss..?”

                ❝Rapunzel.❞ She was polite but there was a stretching of her lips, a smile wishing to spread and overtake her face. Attempting to squash it down, the budding pieces of flesh joined together tightly before releasing in order to continue speaking.

                  ❝If you wanted to borrow my sweater, I would have lent it to you.❞

                ❝Oh--❞

                A shiver ran down her body at the intrusion but it did not last long and she let out a drawn out breath when she became accustomed to touch of another cuddling against her.

                  ❝--hi. Are you okay?❞

                  The head of violet was a most curious addition to her current outfit, not recognizing the young child that had crawled in her lap and decided to share some warmth.

                   Blonde head tilted down, comically moving further down to peer down despite having been able to see her from the collar.

                   ❝--Hello? And who are you?❞
