HAYLEY

has been searching for any traces of her parents, hoping they're still alive. Although the more time passes, the more she's convinced they're actually already gone. Her lack of guidance has made her deceitful and willing to do whatever's necessary to find them.

She's living on the far end of Mystic Falls, only ever returning into the center to work or buy groceries. She can be extremely social, but for a purpose, other than that she just keeps to herself, not wanting to be bothered.

Hayley has a few friends in Mystic Falls, most of which are Werewolves, just like her. She acts as a sort of "motherly" figure to them, despite some of them being older than her.

MIKAEL

has been restless ever since leaving his home, never once settled for long and rather hunted vampires, both as food and for sport. (his diet mostly consists of vampires, but he does resort to blood bags occasionally nowadays, just to keep himself strong whenever he can't find a suitable target)

more sophisticated, but extremely prideful. Mixed with wrath, Klaus resembles him a lot, or so Mikael thinks himself. He has been trying to find a cure, a way to undo the terror he'd created with his wife. Yet, a part of him enjoys the power. Which isn't something he's ready to acknowledge yet, even after a thousand years.

He's willing to rid the world of monsters, but then again a part of him feels like he could reach for the stars. Mikael's torn between duty and power.

AMARA

Amara has been the Anchor ever since, the first face supernatural creatures see before they're forced to cross to the other side. While she has suffered greatly through every death, she's not as insane. The pain has become more bearable over time, though she struggles all the same with each new one.

She hasn't desiccated herself out of desperation, but rather lived a secluded life for centuries, with a whisper and aura of mystery following her every step. Many legends have spread of the centuries, but Amara made sure not to entertain any of them.
