Emma chuckled as she realized her mistake as she expected a different attitude. “Er- Which one are you? She told me to expect a joke.” 

“Ah.. you think I’m Gordon, no I’m actually Virgil.” Virgil smiled blushing slightly. “Gordon is out right now, but I’ll introduce you when he gets back. Anyway, tell me about yourself.”

Alan’s eyes widened with fear. “Wait, who told you I was hiding with John?” He couldn’t help but wonder how his brother knew about that.

"Well I figured that you would know I'm mad and hide in the one place I can't reach you. Using your 'bird of course." That's what Virgil said, and that may be true, but in reality he couldn't find Alan and EOS was getting tired of him at that point so she told Virgil where he was. But Alan doesn't have to know that.

Alan gasped in shock to his older brother’s reply. He mouth was completely open and his eyes wide with suprise. “I’m telling Grandma you’ve got guns in the house.” he said suddenly making a run for it while trying his hardest not to laugh.

“Seriously?” Virgil muttered to himself. He did know grandma used to live in Kansas right? It is not like guns are a new thing to her, muscular or otherwise, he thought to himself. Well this should be interesting.

"Hmmm" Virgil pondered, "I think that would be appropriate." Looking over at Alan, Virgil crossed his arms in thought, "though what could we do to make him... understand? Perhaps a Meet And Greet with International Rescues youngest member, with a charity auction attached, Alan being the bid. Wouldn't you want to take a lovely young lady out for dinner Allie?"

“Sure thing bro, but I need to ask you something first.” said Alan with a stoic expression.

“Sure thing” Virgil asked taking in his extended arms, suddenly this didn’t feel like a warm fuzzy conversation anymore, “everything ok?”

“Oof!” said Alan as he landed on his rear. Caught between the shock of John eating his pizza and getting fired up for a cushion fight. “Ohhh, so that’s how it is huh?” he said letting out a playful chuckle just like he was five again. Grabbing two cushions and ready to battle, he turns to his older brother.“Alright big guy, you asked for it.” Alan said charging at his older brother with two cushions. “Best two out of three.”

Virgil, took the pillow in his hand and began whipping it back and forth like nun-chucks. He was bigger than Alan so he had to play smart, the smaller they are the faster they moved. So as Alan came in swinging, Virgil took his pillow and used it as a shield. “Al are you admitting I beat you in a pillow fight? I must have hit you too hard!”

“Me? Never!” Alan replied in a playful and defiant tone. “I plan to take my place as the cushion fighting champion.” Not wanting to admit his last battle against Gordon ended in a loss. He continued to try and hit his brother trying to look for an opening.

"Really? Because Gordon told me he pummeled you last time!” Virgil was holding Alan’s head with his hand as Alan continued to take swings at him. Virgil shifted to the right, then taking the pillow in his right hand, he took a swing at Alan as he fell onto the couch. “To slow little bro!”
