I put together some footage from last summer, the night of the solar eclipse when my sister and I drove out of the city and went camping and the beach we’ve been going to every summer since I was born.

My first album is one year old today 🖤

this was my first time performing these songs without backing tracks which was really special for me. this album is almost a year old and yet these songs still bring out so much emotion, thank you to kpsu + lanny for having me!

it’s Friday, which means it’s finally time for my 2-year project Flashbulb Memory to reach all of you. i couldn’t be more excited & hope that it’s all you wanted it to be, feast yr ears ❁

here is the first single from Flashbulb Memory, “Somewhere You’ve Been Before.” this song, along with the second-to-last track on Flashbulb Memory, were the product of a week-long recording session with my friend Neil at his cabin in North Carolina. originally, the plan was to write & record all the basic elements for my next album while I was there. i failed miserably at least in terms of quantity, leaving with just a few unfinished demos to show for it - only 2 of which actually ended up on Flashbulb Memory. that being said, those two are my personal favorite songs I’ve ever recorded. i cannot wait for all of you to hear the rest ❀
