End Of The World

He didn’t believe it. He didn’t want to believe it. The news said it was just a string of attacks so he just simply ignored the threat. Some sort of virus that was causing people to get aggressive and attack like some sort of rabid dog. Though the Halfa had a gut feeling more, choosing to ignore. That had been his mistake. The Dead now walked the earth their only instinct to eat live flesh. Easily avoidable in his ghost form but even he couldn’t stay like that forever. He had to travel to Amity. He had to see if the Dead had spread there yet. Once arriving in Amity Park, he was devastated to see the destruction of the town. It hadn’t even been a month yet the town seems overrun with the Dead. He flew to the familiar street where the Fenton household would be. Phasing through the walls to see if anyone remained. " Daniel? Jack? Maddie? Anyone there.“ Calling out. He knew that he would be blowing his secret, but in the end of the world, a secret like that meant nothing to seeing the living faces humans. ” I can help you get out if you are still here? It’s Vlad.“ Hopes of hearing someone’s voice was all he was holding onto.
Time was something Danny had always thought, mistakenly so, that he had finally earned plenty of. However, young teen would discover that time was easily limited. Ghosts came and went, eyes blank and unseeing as they passed him by, uncaring in the desolated place. Everyone had fled, and Danny had not found a shred of life.
His only consolation was, despite seeing familiar faces, his family and friends were not amongst them. It was a thought that was often drenched with bitter guilt, he was the city's savior yes? No one else could do what he could, and the others, why would they? They gained nothing, certainly.
So young, and yet those icy irises gleamed, glowing in the dark as he looked up from the Ops Center. One would think by now, people would have thought of Fentonworks as a shelter, he'd yet to see anyone. Anyone alive that was. Surprisingly, old ghosts, former enemies, would come to keep him company. Maybe even how he kept his sanity. Fentonworks itself was a fortress, and not just against ghosts it would seem.
Often scavenging the remnants of Amity Park, his home, his city, and as Sam jokingly said his lair. But it was quiet now, and he had not been able to save anyone in the end after all. Would Dan have been a better ending to the world? He shakes his head, only to snap his attention below, dropping through the floors with wide eyes.
"You're alive?" Danny's voice comes out as a hushed whisper, surprise coloring every aspect of his floating body. Vlad was here, alive, and, stupidly revealing his presence to anyone who may have used to live here. Yet despite such thoughts, his eyes flooded first with tears, before burning lethal green.
"You did this, didn't you? All of your experiments, it finally crashed, it's your fault!" Voice cracks in his shouting, anger eating up his veins with fire. It wasn't Vlad's fault, but, he was a teenager, not yet an adult, and here was Vlad, arch nemesis, swooping in like some kind of hero.
It was too perfect.
