Dirk groans, looking…. plain annoyed and really fucking tired. When he sees Jake he doesn’t speak at first, instead just grabbing him from where he’s sitting and pulling him on top of him, hugging the tanned boy in his arms.

“He fucking stole the only way to other timelines for us, that’s what.”

Dirk grumbles into Jake's arm and muttering obceneties. After a littl bit though he pulls his head up and speaks normally.
