Ash is absolutely terrible at having a crush. When he falls, he falls HARD.
He becomes aware of your every move, every touch, and every glance. If you’re cooking together and your fingers accidentally brush, he’ll flinch so violently he’s liable to knock over an entire mixing bowl. He avoids eye contact at all costs. His gaze darts everywhere except your face, mostly because looking at you for too long makes his chest tight and his brain filled with all kind of thoughts.
At work, you occupy his thoughts so much that he forgets to hand out change, leaving his register short at the end of the shift. He constantly catches himself staring at the front door, secretly hoping you'll drop by.
If you sit too close, he’ll immediately scoot away or abruptly change seats altogether. To an outsider, it might look like he dislikes you, but in reality, he is just terrified of how desperately he actually wants to be near you.
