   Geten ignored the threat and settled the tiny Twice back into his lap, polishing it off with a gentle coating of frost to keep it shiny. He was smiling faintly under his hood. Though he didn’t trust Dabi, he trusted he’d at least be willing for Jin’s sake to give a truthful answer. 

“Good…m’glad.” He murmured quietly.

 With that he settled his work into one of his pockets and sighed in relief, once again turning his eyes to the moonlit skies above them in content silent wonder.

He honestly thought that was the last of their talk but…it was Dabi’s turn to ponder out loud. Shocked, somewhat started by the question, he turned to look at Dabi before looking away and giving a soft huff. For a moment he said nothing before once again tugging off his hood and letting it slip back down again, allowing his messy ivory mane to drape over his shoulders. 

“…Why do you care why I stay or go? I thought you didn’t like talking.” Geten muttered, crystal blue eyes watching a random leaf go by while his hand subconsciously felt over the sculpture in his pocket. “…I told you why anyways.”

“This is my home. My family. And since we’re all one big squad now. I have your fri-…allies to keep safe too. If that means I die here for them. Yours or mine. So be it…”

“I want to give Jin my gift after the war…When everything calms down.”

“I don’t give a shit if you stay or if you go,” Dabi retorts. He rolls his eyes, Despite his mistrust of the MLA, he didn’t mind them too much. Skeptic could prove to be useful and they at least added to the league’s numbers. With the acquisition of the MLA, they had moved from being a small rag tag group of criminals to something a bit more formal and organizable. It was strange to hear Geten prophet-size about a world after the war- Dabi doesn’t think he will get a chance to. It wasn’t in the cards for him. And he had an odd feeling that he probably wasn’t in it for Twice either. “Why wait? You’re going to forget about it and it’ll melt,” he scoffs, “or do you not know how the properties of water work?”
