Thank you for the kind words. Have a good day as well. I usually listen to Japanese vocaloid songs and vocaloid covers of said songs. Sometimes music is overwhelming, so I would rather listen to Taylor Swietanski or Pilotredsun’s ambient albums instead.

New madomagi collaboration picture and how come everyone is well dressed and moe while one side of Sayaka’s overall is literally falling apart. Is this a recent fashion trend that I am not aware of… I’m shaking my fist at the sun.
I love looking at official art of Sayaka, especially from the cards, because it seems that if there is ever an opportunity to make her stand out, that opportunity is taken. By far my favourite is this card showing Sayaka at an elegant ball, but she is the only character in the line up who is carrying a flamboyant masquerade mask with her, the character who is associated with poor self-image and not feeling like a human anymore. Her rocky hair band also makes me think of barnacles.
I just really like it when designers sprinkle in the relevant motifs and elements for each character. Sayaka has a lot of strong imagery as a result.

I am obviously talking to myself again here, but I think it is very interesting that Wren’s incredibly weird temperament is similar to the Hamelyn Piper. The whole time I was writing on how he and Patch are mirrors of each other, but if we really think about it, Wren has a pretty uncanny resemblance to him in terms of character.
I initially thought they would have a generic villain and hero interaction, but instead their relationship is more like a neglectful parent and his child. Since he was raised in isolation by his master, he had poor relations with other Pipers despite claiming to be their ‘shepherd’, and is generally easily irritated by people while simultaneously being secretly sensitive to their perceptions of him.
His master took on a deceptive identity while raising him, so it is a strange detail that when interacting with Wren, he never at any point deceives her or pull cruel tricks on her, but explains things as they are. He has his own secrets, she has her own, and he never really forces anything out from her. He even gave clear instructions on how she was to be taken care of to the point where she found the continued good treatment to be ‘puzzling’.

what artists would you say inspire you, or influenced your own style? you've got such a distinct art style, i love it
Hello. Thank you kindly for asking. It has been so long since I received this sort of question that I do not remember. I do recall that I often cited Finnish artist and game developer Ville Kallio as my inspiration for works that involve quick, sketchy line art and bizarre colour combinations for paintings, though.
For my usual works, I do not recall who exactly inspired them, only that they are most likely an experimental result from mentally consolidating interesting art posters and illustrated children books’ covers. I also read art magazines from time to time, and take inspiration from any kind of sharp, definitive style that stands out to me.
I believe CountANDRA, author of Decemberville, was also an integral artist who influenced both my storytelling and formative art style. Showcased below are the artist’s illustrations of the Von Pyre siblings.
Admittedly, the fact that I can barely remember anything related to my own inspiration is an account from my end disclosing that I have been slacking on my art studies. Nevertheless, thank you for the curiosity and kind words, they are deeply encouraging. 🙇♂️
