My love n obsession for them has truly done many things for my creativity n mental health, I would’ve never created my reagent oc if I hadn’t started self-shipping with his wives. I love them more than he ever could, esp the first one she is my one and only muse

Project Boneyard and the new prime time lines have been an absolute goldmine for me when it comes to content for the 2nd and 3rd wife, Coyle actually isn’t legally allowed to talk shit abt our 1st wife because if he does then I and my reagent oc will be forced to beat him to death with hammers.

Part 2 of my series of drawing prime assets as babies, this time it’s wittle Leland Coyle. Ngl there were like multiple times while drawing this one where I almost started crying because the idea of his mom abusing such a little creature upset me rlly bad

I really tried to replicate the frilly smocked style of infant clothing that southern mothers are just so insanely obsessed with for some reason, this outfit specifically is def more inspired by Edwardian styles than it is the 1920s but I imagine his mom putting her children in heirloom clothing bc it’d be cheaper than buying new shit (that and her treating the infant stage as an opportunity to dress them like little dolls, I have a lot of strange headcanons abt his family lowkey)

Sometimes when I’m sad I think of the prime assets as babies and I get even more sadder 💔 so I decided to bestow this feeling upon everyone else by drawing them all as babies

I think we as a fandom really need to start holding role play blogs more accountable because I’ve noticed an uptick in people blatantly using their rp as an convenient excuse to be bigoted and behave like absolute pieces of shit. It’s not cute or funny, it’s fucking weird. Calling other fans “illegals” and telling them to die under the guise of you “just being in character” is just a shitty farce because you know you won’t get away with it otherwise. People will treat acting like a bigot is just some cute costume they can take on and off while ignoring the fact that even if it’s “just a joke” it still harms poc, especially in a political climate where people are being ripped from their families and imprisoned for the color of their skin.

Saying you’re not racist while spewing abhorrent shit and excusing it as me just being a negative nancy doesn’t make you any less of a damn bigot. I am begging some of my fellow Coyle fans to get their head out of their ass and stop acting like his bigotry is just some silly fun little quirk that you get to joke about. It’s honestly not even just Coyle fans, this is a behavior I have seen for multiple other white characters and it’s genuinely disturbing. The romanticization of hate symbols and groups such as Blue Lives Matter, the kkk, the confederate flag, and Nazi imagery is just getting out of hand. This is not to say that you can’t discuss these topics, because we can and should but you must do it in a respectful serious manner instead of doing the opposite. It is disrespectful to survivors and victims of such vile hatred. I genuinely tried to give this person some grace and a chance to clarify themselves but clearly they are not going to listen and I doubt anyone else will say anything about it so here we are.

Just to clarify before someone decides to misunderstand and pull a “oh so you hate waffles” on me, I have absolutely nothing against roleplay blogs for Coyle or roleplay blogs in general but I think it’s important to remember that just because you are roleplaying as a hateful character doesn’t mean you have to go all the damn way, which is something I think a majority of the roleplayers in this fandom understand but sadly there’s always a few rotten apples. Honestly “being in character” is just a shitty excuse in general like I don’t see Trager or Eddie roleplayers sexually harassing others and if they did the fandom would rightfully crucify them for it, so why is it okay to say racist shit under the guise of just being roleplay? Just because “there’s worse in the source material” doesn’t mean you get to do this shit and it honestly just shows you have absolutely 0 media literacy skills, the difference is that Red Barrels doesn’t glorify this shit and is critiquing it while you on the other hand are just being a edgy little shit. You’re not supposed to laugh with the characters in this game when they say bigoted shit, you’re supposed to LAUGH AT THEM. The true cherry on top of the whole shit cake is using AAVE while acting like it’s a joke to be racist.
