pretty, frightful things

HELLO EVERYONE, I'M BACK. I knew I'd return to this blog at some point or another, and it feels so great to be reunited with you guys again :) Believe it or not, I became so connected to the little AFI fanbase that's on here, and the only reason I left for a while was because I wasn't feeling as much of a connection with the actual band as I had previously. If you're not feeling into something, then what's the point of dedicating time to blogging about it, right? Anyway, what better night to return than the one on which I finally saw AFI live (alongside Linkin Park and 30stm). THEY. WERE. INCREDIBLE. Davey is 80 kinds of exquisite in the flesh, Jade was just as gazelle-like as he is in videos, Hunter did the dramatic double-pound on his bass that he does in the beginning of the second verse of Miss Murder in the video, and Adam was just... Adam. I nearly teared up when they came onstage because holy crap, these are the people I love so much and obsessed about for so long and this is the person who I look up to and who inspired me to be straightedge, and here they are, right in front of my eyes. It was a truly amazing experience and I genuinely hope that all of you get the chance to see them in concert at least once in your lives. It's great to be back and I'll be blogging regularly on here again from now on. Get ready for some AFI MADNESS! Haha. See you guys around!

GUYS! Hello! I haven't been on in some time and I seriously apologize for that, I've been feeling so lazy Tumblr-wise lately. I've mostly been on my main blog, but how could I go more than a week without blogging about my favourite band?! It's nice to be back and I plan on being more active in the coming weeks :)
