Well this is rather up-front now, isn't it? You can't say I'm leaving anything to the imagination, now can you? This is most definitely ALL OF ME. Sometimes it's still rather a shock — especially, while I'm organising the village litter pick, or emailing the bookclub about next month's titles. Then I see on my desktop a photo like this, of little old me, all exposed and fleshy! And then post it on Tumblr! Note to self — do not accidentally send to the Lady Bee photo to the bookclub and post the cover of Lost Lambs by Madeline Cash on Tumblr!

I always look back fondly on the joys of cooking, especially those lively moments in the kitchen when things inevitably get a bit messy. There are times I’ve had to whip off my skirt before tackling the gravy or basting the roast, just to avoid splashing any precious juices onto my favourite vintage frock. That little improvisation never fails to raise a few eyebrows and spark laughter among my family, making each meal just that little bit more memorable.

To stand here, sixty-four and splendidly undressed, is both a revelation and a revolution. My torso—every line, every fold, every curve—lies open to your gaze, clothed only in black stockings and audacious confidence. Is it really me, this body that’s collected decades and stories, daring you to look, daring myself to be seen? That cheeky little fold of flesh, those “bullets” brazenly pointed—each a badge of living, defiance, and delight. So yes, darlings, it truly is me—still cheeky, still bold, still writing my own story, one unabashed pose at a time.
