Museum Reincarnation AU

Jon stopped in front of a case of weaponry; swords and shields and axes hundreds of years old. One sword in particular drew his eye, a long piece with a white pommel carved in the shape of a wolf. He paused in front of it for long time, staring at how the steel rippled. A chill traveled up his spine.

“Excuse me?”

A polite voice forced Jon from his thoughts. He flinched, spun, searching for the source of the sound.

A tall man with a neatly trimmed red beard stood a few feet away. He was looking at Jon curiously, like he couldn’t quite place him. 

“Have we met before?” 

Jon: I think it is.

Ned: That's a common mistake. It's about everything else except that. It's about the ebb and flow of life, the dancing wheel of chance.
