funny   as   it   may   be,   he   knows   she   won’t   allow   it.      though   rosita   would   LOVE   to   see   their   companion   startled   awake   by   a   BOOK   TO   THE   FACE,   she   knows   it   wouldn’t   be   right.      ❝   tell   you   what,   he   starts   being   a   creep   again,   you   can   throw   a   book   at   him.      but   sadly   we   kind   of   have   to   keep   him   happy,   don’t   we?   ❞      if   there   was   even   a   CHANCE   that   a   cure   was   real,   they   needed   to   go   for   it.      that   meant   keeping   eugene   happy   and   safe.      ❝   now   go   on.   ❞      takes   the   gun   from   his   hand,   and   slips   it   in   the   holster   around   her   waist.      ❝   i’ll   be   scouting   outside.      don’t   keep   my   waiting   too   long.   ❞

         ❛   yes   ma'am.   ❜   leaning   forward,   abraham   pressed   a   quick   kiss   to   rosita's   cheek   with   a   sly   smirk   before   turning   around   and   exiting   the   room.   it   was   no   surprise   that   eugene   was   one   of   the   most   annoying   people   in   abe's   eyes.   he   didn't   know   when   to   shut   up   and   was   the   highest   on   the   scale   of   weird.   but   alas,   if   a   cure   could   be   made   to   fix   the   hell   hole   that   was   the   current   world,   it   was   going   to   be   eugene.

          the    ground    brings    fear.           it    brings    danger.    every    step    they    take    is           𝙰    𝙼𝚈𝚂𝚃𝙴𝚁𝚈    ,    𝙰𝙽    𝚄𝙽𝙲𝙴𝚁𝚃𝙰𝙸𝙽𝚃𝚈    ,    𝙰    𝙽𝙴𝚆    𝙳𝙸𝚂𝙲𝙾𝚅𝙴𝚁𝚈.           he    says      :      DON’T    PANIC    ,    but    his    insides    scream      :      RUN      !      tongue    of    wolf    in    distance    swipes    over    snout    ,    mutated    face    easily    detectable    even    from    their    distance.

𝐀    𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐍.    𝐀    𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐍.    𝐀    𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐍.           if    he    doesn’t    come    with    one    soon      .    .    .    .    .           they’re    both    dead.

      wolves   sense   fear.   yeah,   and   ninety-nine   percent   of   it   was   coming   from   monty.   these   weren't   just   normal   wolves.   they   were   wolves   on   crack   ;   double   the   size   of   normal   ones,   eyes   as   red   as   blood,   faces   that   could   only   be   described   as   demonic.   it   was   absolutely   terrifying.   

“   still   doesn’t   make   it   right   .   ”   regardless   of   the   reason   ,   there   was   no   proper   justification   for   it   .   it   was   always   unusual   to   all   her   friends   how   open   the   saltzman   household   was   open   with   one   another   ;   primarily   with   the   fact   open   discussions   occurred   and   everyone   was   able   to   vent   out   their   feelings   without   any   drastic   repercussions   .   it   was   a   healthy   environment   that   allowed   her   to   express   the   disdain   of   treatment   she   had   been   feeling   …   and   that   was   something   she   appreciated   regardless   of   the   circumstances   .
