Finally found some decent BT fanzines / doujinshi! It’s a bit hard as they’re all sealed up and you need to make decisions based on the cover art (sometimes there’s none). @living-on-the-net ’s posts would be helpful if only any of the ones I’ve found for sale were there :’D never giving up hope though! Anyway I’m super happy with the second one especially, you can see a sample of one of the stories there and it’s really beautiful.

Sadly, I haven’t gotten any new ones myself in a very long time because I’ve been saving to go to Japan… hopefully once I’m there I can scout out some more, if they’re not too costly since I’ll be on a very limited budget ;___;
@living-on-the-net I dug them out at the Shibuya Mandarake store :) There were several more but I couldn’t even tell if those were going to be comics or fanfiction (I got a few with fanfiction earlier) since they’re sealed in plastic, so I only got those two.
The good news is, one was ¥200 and one ¥300 so definitely a bargain, 5 bucks for both. I’m sure you’ll find loads more in your time in Japan, I’m already envious! On the other hand I saw one for over ¥7000 so that must’ve been something super rare. You never know what you find in those stores. :)
Ahhhh! That’s AMAZING! I look forward to hunting around Mandarake! And those prices are AMAZING. I think most of mine were $10-20, though I have a few I paid more/are worth more @_@;
It does suck not knowing if they’re fanfiction, I have a few like that…
I’ll be sure to share any I do find on here when I go, since I’ll be buying a cheap scanner when there so I can still post art on my art accounts 8)
