THE LINE IS long, stretching on and on and folding in on itself until it finally disappears into the cavernous depths of the studio ── if he wants to put it that way, at least. it’s such an alien sight to him, so many people packed together and crawling along, that he’s almost overcome with anxiety. pale fingers dig into his bag straps. he cannot back out; not now. not when he has no other options, not anymore he doesn’t have them. he’ll stay in the line until they tell him to go home, he thinks, and then he’ll sit down on the street somewhere and wonder and now what? but he’s feeling so uncomfortable he does something uncharacteristic. speaks up, trying to get the attention of the girl in front of him. ❛ we’re going to stand here forever, and they’ll just end up not even seeing us, huh? ❜ | @righteousgirl sc.
