   Byungjoo should’ve known something was up the moment he stepped into the doorway. He should’ve been more careful anyways. If he was honest, he’s had a crush on Hansol since their trainee says. Of course, when you first came into the picture and were just a person that Hansol, he tried to squash it down. Then he met you and, for lack of better words, Byungjoo was fucked. So don’t blame him if it takes him a minute to process everything.

   Sensing his hesitation, you spoke to reassure him. “It’s okay, Joo. You don’t have to. We can forget about this if you want. But...we’d like for you to join us.” You smiled again, hoping to calm him down a bit. This was something both you and Hansol have wanted as well. Surprisingly, it was you that brought it up first. It took you a while, but you’ve grown to really like Byungjoo, and you could tell that Hansol had been harbouring feelings for his best friend, but just hasn’t realised it yet. It took a lot of discussing and even a few fights to get comfortable with the idea but the two of you did plan of officially asking him to be in your relationship, though not like this. But when the opportunity strikes you gotta take it right?

   Byungjoo nodded, stepping a bit further into the room. He looked nervous, shuffling in place as Hansol strode over to him. Once he got to him, the shorter lifted his hand to the other’s cheek, sort of caressing it. He could see his eyes soften and he didn’t seem so scary anymore. It was like he was asking for extra consent before he started. “It’s okay.” was all Joo said, and Hansol’s demeanour changed quickly. The hand on his cheek slid into his hair, using it to pull him into a deep kiss. His eyes closed, hands hesitantly moving to the other’s waist. You got up from the bed then, silently making your way to them.

   Sliding up behind Byungjoo, you gripped his hips, making him jump. You moved closer so you could ghost your lips up his neck, nipping where his neck met his jaw. You consider just turning around and going back to your game, but you know he heard you so you open the door anyways.

   It’s silent for a moment, neither of you really know what to say. “Can I… Can I help? You?” You choke out, wondering why the infamous Leo is here. He doesn’t say anything as expected, just brushes past you and quietly enters your apartment. Turning to watch him, face mixed with disbelief and confusion, you let the door fall shut, deafening in the stillness of the night. Leo paced, clearly nervous about something, and it made you feel unsettled, the air tense. You were about to say something, anything to break the silence, but the man in front of you spoke and you sucked in a breath.

   “I need your help.” He huffed out. Then he walked out the door. Unfortunately, one does not just...argue with Leo and still live, so you sighed and let him lead you out of your own damn apartment building.

   Leo was intimidating as fuck. To be fair, if you wanted to be on top in this kind of work, you had to be. But it didn’t feel right, not on him. It’s been a few months since he reached out to you, but you still remember it like it was yesterday.    Apparently so. The two of you never really talked in the couple of months you’ve been here, but a hit had gone wrong and you were injured with a long drive ahead of you, accompanied by a tired Leo. “Talk to me.” He had demanded, voice cutting through the silence. You lifted your head off the window and raised an eyebrow. He glanced at you, talking softer this time.

   “I’m tired. Need you to keep me awake.”

   “...I can drive if you need me to.” You suggested, but he shook his head.

“You’re injured. Just talk.” Honestly, you would have argued, but he used That Voice so all you said was ‘okay’ and nothing else. It was quiet for a moment until you spoke up again.

   “Leo-”

   “Taekwoon.”

   “...What?” You said before you even processed what he said. But then you realised, and holy shit he just gave you his real name? A person’s name is everything in this line of work. And Leo (Taekwoon) just gave you his. To put it lightly, you were fucking touched.

   “My name. It’s Taekwoon. You can call me that if you want? The others do” All you could do was grin, in too much pain to do much more. ‘Alright,’ you say, feeling better about being stuck here. In fact, your mouth didn’t shut for the rest of the car ride.

   Most of the time, your running mouth gets you in trouble and you were sure Taekwoon was gonna kick you outta the car for being so annoying, but he didn’t? He actually contributed to the conversation, truly smiled and laughed with you during the whole car ride and after, when Hongbin whisked you to their makeshift infirmary. The chair by your side was occupied with his presence, him taking control of the conversation to distract you from the stitches being sewn into your side. Things began to change after that. Taekwoon slowly opened up to you in the four additional months you’ve been working with him, and you would definitely consider him a close friend now.

   And that’s how you found yourself lounging on the couch in the living room of the high-rise penthouse VIXX shares. You had let yourself in earlier that day (you had the spare key, but now it’s sort of just your key) with nothing better to do. For a while, all you did was play video games with Sanghyuk and fuck around with everyone while they waited for their orders. But then they got them and left you all alone, no company until Taekwoon comes back from a meeting a whole hour later. All you could bring yourself to do was flip through the T.V. channels in hopes of finding something entertaining.

   The door swung open, startling you. A tired Taekwoon trudged through and plopped his body right on top of yours. A wheeze escaped your mouth as you struggled to breathe, arms pushing at him with little success.

   “Taekwoonie!” You half whined, squirming under his weight. “I think you might actually suffocate me, get your fat ass off.” His breath hit your neck as he let out an airy laugh and you could feel his body shake with it. Even after, he refused to get off, shaking his head and nuzzling further into the crook of your neck.

   “No.” Came a late mumble, his arms wrapping around you as he changed your position. Now he was laying behind you, his chin resting on your shoulder. It hurt a bit, but you knew better than to complain. He’d just ignore you. So you sighed in defeat and relaxed against him

Sehyuk

I feel like he’s the kind of person that sleeps late so you’d definitely wake up before him. It wouldn’t be long though and he’d tiredly grin at you and pull you closer to him, maybe putting his leg over your hip to trap you there. I can see him as a snoring kind of person too, and sometimes that’ll wake you up at night but he’ll be fast asleep as you glare at him.

Hojoon

Hojoon seems like an early riser, but not too early, so there’ll be times where you wake up and he’s already awake, playing on his phone in one hand and the other wrapped around you or carding through your hair. He probably gets kinda sappy in the mornings, kissing your head or your cheek and babbling about how much he loves you.

Sangdo

Sangdo seems like an early riser too. Normally he’d already be up and making breakfast by the time you wake up, but on days when the both of you can stay in bed, he lays with you, eyes closed until you wake up. Then the two of you will lay there until you have to get up, touching each other’s faces and softly talking about whatever.

Yooncheol

I don’t the Yooncheol’s the type of person who gets up early or late. That means there's a 50/50 chance that you’ll wake up and he’s in the living room, watching T.V. while he waits for you to get up, or you wake up and he’s sleeping quietly next to you. Sometimes you’ll wake up at the same time, though, and both of you giggle and sleepily smile at each other before you two have to get up.

Hansol

Hansol would be kinda similar to Yooncheol, though he’d be more on the late side. A good chunk of the time you open your eyes and he’s still asleep and you have to nudge him awake because he doesn’t like waking up after you. He’ll try to pull you closer to him, even though you’re already wrapped around him and he nips at your ear playfully and covers you in kisses.

Byungjoo

Saying that Joob loves to sleep in is an understatement cause this boy sleeps LATE. More often than not, you’re the one shaking him awake and dragging him out of bed. You always wake up to him snoring, a lil bit of drool coming from his mouth and it’s so cute that you just gotta take a picture of his sweet face. On some, very rare, days, though, he isn’t such a brat about getting up and you can actually wake him up by kissing him.

Jiho

Jiho neither sleeps in or wakes up early, and he’s easy to get up as well. Sometimes you’ll wake up and he’s still asleep, but then his eyes open when you caress his cheek. He’ll take your hand and tangle your fingers together all sweet and romantic until the alarm goes off, ruining the moment. Whenever he wakes up first, he doesn't wait for you to get up on your own. Sanggyun

This boi is suchhhhhh a late sleeper and is terrible at waking up. He always has so much energy during the day that he sleeps like a rock at night. Trying to wake him up is a chore, you could push him, shake him, and hit him with a pillow as much as you want, but he still doesn’t get up, so you resort to just lying there with him, tucked into his side watching Netflix until he finally  wakes up and gives you sloppy kisses on the cheek and sweet cuddles.

Sangwon

Clouds drift past the window, faster as the plane descends. Your foot taps in anticipation, fingers tapping a pattern on your thigh. There’s nothing that could explain how you feel, minutes away from landing. Today you’re finally going to see Wonshik for the first time. He’s honestly the love of your life and now you’re his birthday present.

Excitement took over your body, but nervousness coursed through your veins. Your heart lurched, full of gratitude for the rest of the band, limbs warm with love for you boyfriend. A bit of anger was in there too, anger because it had taken six years for this to happen. But it was finally happening and all of the emotions inside you made you want to fall into Wonshik’s arms and cry.

Although you have been dating for six years, you were friends longer. The two of you had met online some eight, nine years ago when the two of you were still teenagers in high school. It was on some forum, but neither of you can really remember what for anymore. Back then it was easy, even though you lived hundreds of miles way. You’d skype almost every night, text all day, make promises to see each other during the summer. It never happened. Then he joined Vixx and things became harder. Still, you held on, for all these years. You love him and he loves you.

Wonshik sighed, slumping in the backseat of the van. Hakyeon had woken him up, early on his birthday, and rushed him to shower and get dressed in something nice. For the love of god please wear something nice, he said. Fuck you, Wonshik had mumbled, heading for the shower anyways. Then, once everyone was ready, they slapped a blindfold on him and shoved him into the car, Taekwoon buckling his seatbelt for him, patting his thigh when he finished. The car started and they were off to god knows where.

Clearly, they were trying to do something nice and Wonshik was grateful for that, but did it really have to be at seven in the morning? The rest of Vixx was sorta used to Wonshik’s complaining by now, though. Wonshik was always grumpy on the mornings of his birthday. He never told them why, but they could tell when Wonshik tells you over skype, “I wish I could’ve woken up next to you today. But at least I get to fall asleep next to you.” He’d pause, then say “Even though you’re not really here.” with sadness heavy in his voice, on his tongue, in his mouth, in his heart.

The van stops and Wonshik can hear seatbelts unbuckle. Then, his blindfold is off, but a hand quickly covers his eyes. “Close your eyes.” He can hear Hongbin whisper in front of him and he does as told. Something is placed on his face, sunglasses he assumes. They must be in public. Then he’s out of the car and walking somewhere, up some stairs and through a door and suddenly it’s loud. People are chattering and bustling about, he hears the sounds of wheels moving across the floor and occasional beeps. Where is he?

“Flight number 32412 has landed.” booms a voice from the intercom. Jaehwan curses and Wonshik feels himself being dragged faster. Flight? Wonshik thinks, confused. Are we at an airport? Who’s flying in? Suddenly, Wonshik feels anxious. His palms begin to sweat, heart thumping. Something’s going to happen today, something life changing, maybe. He knows it, he can feel it in his bones. They stop. Sanghyuk whispers behind Wonshik. “We’re at the right gate, right hyung?” Hakyeon was about to answer, but he was cut off by a sudden commotion. Then the sunglasses were off and Wonshik opened his eyes.

People were pouring through an airport gate with luggage in hand, some going to meet their family, others heading straight to baggage check. Wonshik scanned over the people, confused. Who was he looking for? He turned to Hakyeon, silently asking, but the leader just smiled and nodded his head toward the crowd. Wonshik looked back and squinted after a few seconds. A familiar face was looking over the crowd and no fucking way. The person broke out into a huge smile when they spotted the group and started running towards them and Wonshik almost choked, oh my god. It was you, actually you, in person running at him right now and Wonshik really couldn’t believe it. But then you were in his arms and you were crying and he was crying. You buried your face in his shoulder and took everything in, the way he smelled, the way he squeezed you so tight you couldn’t breathe, his body smushed against yours. Everything happening around the two of you was just gone. Nobody knew how long you stayed like that, whispering in each other’s ears, but when you pulled away, the gate was empty.

Wonshik’s hands slid from your shoulders to your face and he looks you in the
