I’m preparing(poorly) for my topographic anatomy exam, and keep getting distracted, man. Those blood vessels and nerves look so stretchy, an image of someone playing on them like a guitar keeps popping up in my head
Upper arm anatomy:
On the Anterior Surface of Upper Arm, in the sulcus bicipitalis medialis(between m.biceps n triceps) lies medial nmb. In the first 1/3 of Arm positions of neuromuscular bundle is as follows: vena brachialis—most medially, arteria brachialis superficially, nervus medianus superficial to arteria, and nervus ulnaris internally and posterially.
As we go down, nervus ulnar is keeps going posterially, on the border on 2/3 n.ulnaris goes through septum intermusculare mediale and leaves the medial bundle , and , at this point now enters the posterior compartment of the forearm, leaving the anterior compartment.
N. medianus is superficial to brachial Artery in the upper 1/3, but in the lower is stationed internally to it. Most commonly it crosses the artery on the anterior surface on the arm.
