Also I find this previous scene interesting with the focus on this necklace. Another relic perhaps? She wasn't wearing it the last time she was introduced back in ep 76. Hmm oh necklace where have I seen you before..

Wait.. Is it possible? That shape is the same, right? I don't think it could just be coincidence. What could you mean I wonder? Could it actually be from Aera's eyepatch? Or could it just mean something symbolically? Hmm

The name "Snake" could also be important? Snakes are often symbolically significant across many different cultures and religions.

"Ruthenia" (that's based on Russia?) was mentioned back in ep 76 too. I think they both just came back from a mission from there?

As messed up as their world is the Bagonia's members must get very attached to their partners, since it seems they don't swap them, they always have the same partner (unless one dies I assume).

Oh this is her gift? She can twist her body? Red in the background, so she is the red essence user indicated from the title drop. We haven't seen another red essence user besides Ryujin and Roan, and their blood manipulation according to Hope is rather unusual, so it's interesting to see a gift from a "normal" red essence user.

A normal tattoo or does it mean something?

Hmm... I think it's very unlikely because I don't think the timeline would match, but the other known survivor from the Hongsan Island besides Han was this person here (ep. 104). It's curious that the tattoo is on the same leg as the injury? And that Snake has that necklace? However, the hands look more masculine? And this was 14 years ago so I think snake would be too young?

Hmm her name is "Huisu" though. It can mean something like "Joyful Longevity". Could her gift make her age slower? Could she be older then she looks and acts? It would match the vampire theme she has going too..

Na there's not enough information yet, so an interesting thought, but until I see more this might be my thoughts running around again. I do think the necklace is too similar to be a coincidence though.

And Rarog detached quickly. A survival thing I'm sure, but feel for Snake a bit still.

I wonder if he will head back if he senses things going bad for Snake though?

I see you there Well Godling. I think it's interesting that the godling eye symbolism is shown in this image, when Wolhye is talking about friends.

I wonder could Wolhye know something about the Well Godling? In the last episode Well Godling was pushing Sayeon to tell Ryujin about it (though I wonder if that was a trick). Is it possible Sara told Wolhye about the godling?

Or it could just mean something symbolically? It could symbolize that the Sara she knows is one that had been irreversibly changed by the godling's deal, so a Sara that is not fully the original Sara? If the godling does steal emotions?

Or possession theory? Where some aspects are not fully Sara at all? Though that's a pretty wild theory of mine.

It interests me that the background is white too. The godling's color. Not too uncommon a backdrop though.

Also sad all of Wolhye's friends are dead. I wonder what the normal life expectancy is for an aberrant?

I know aberrants are good at fall damage since we have seen the main group survive being thrown by Juni, however I’m guessing because of her gift she is even better at it? Might be why she is paired with Rarog?

In the last two episodes it seemed like the Well Godling knew the future, since it warned Sayeon about Wolhye, but it didn't seem to mention Snake at all, just the one with the relic that it "knew well"? Did it see this far? Or not?

I found something of possible interest? Siegfried was nearly invulnerable since he bathed in the blood of a dragon he slayed, except for a single spot on his back where a Lindon leaf fell and prevented the blood from touching his skin.

Kriemhild (Siegfried’s wife) sews a cross (an X) on Siegfried’s clothing where this weakness is. This cross was meant to act as a protective measure (to tell their ally, Hagen, where to protect Siegfried), however Hagen betrayed them and drove a spear into Siegfried’s back when he was drinking from a stream.

Ryujin has the dragon (Ryujin is a dragon in Japanese myth), blood (her gift) and X link to Siegfried? Ryujin can harden her blood to become invulnerable (ep. 70), and Ryujin’s friend(?), Jiwon, embroidered an X on Ryujin’s cap (ep. 48).

Going back to the names. They both use the same written characters, just in a different order.

Hee (희) can mean Joy/Delight, or Bright/Shining. 

Jin (진) can mean Precious/Treasure, or True/Real.

It might indicate that they both represent a type of “shining truth” to Sayeon? However, one that is real and one that only seems real?

Another interesting thing I noticed is that Jinhee and Ryujin both had dragon plush toys when they were younger. I was trying to figure out the symbolism and have come up with a theory:

In ep. 118 Algol, we see Jinhee hugging her dragon. They are both in the same frame.

“Algol” can mean Satan’s head (reference to Medusa’s head). Dragons can represent the Devil (godling?). Could it represent accepting a fake truth?

In ep. 89 Promise, we see Ryujin fighting the dragon to rescue the princess. Ryujin is in a separate frame.

“Promise” in this context is the promise to save. To rescue the princess (Sayeon) from the Devil (godling?).

I also noticed some interesting framing in the recent episodes:

In ep. 118 Algol, Ryujin is ignored as Jinhee rushes to Sayeon.

Next Ryujin overtakes her. What is most interesting is that we visibly see Ryujin overtake Jinhee in this scene. Her worry and care, breaks through and wins here.

However, Jinhee rushes forward again to overtake Ryujin. We see them in the same frame again as she does this.

In ep 121 You Were Warned, Ryujin follows Sayeon again because she is worried. They are together again, it is Ryujin’s care that makes her act.

Jinhee overtakes Ryujin again. Again they are seen in the same frame.

Jinhee reaches Sayeon again. She is surrounded by those sparkles that seem to represent zeal or worship.

In this scene, Ryujin is placed behind Jinhee, with Jinhee’s hair still in view, making Ryujin seem left behind.

I don’t think these framing are a coincidence, just like their names, the scenes are set up as Jinhee vs “Heejin”. Who will reach Sayeon? The Worship or the Love?

Also if Ryujin symbolizes Jesus Christ, is it possible then that Jinhee, who seems to be “Heejin’s” foil, is meant to be the false prophet, the “anti-christ”?
