                that infectious smile has toppled empires , those warm hands have brought kings to their knees . finn reaches out for the fluffy clucking animal with almost too much confidence . all this affection  , all that warmth ? all directed at the chicken that is easily snatched up from the man sunning along some abandoned x-wing ; half gutted , half fixed . finn knew poe could appreciate that work .  ❛   she commed me last night and told me you weren’t giving her enough seeds .   ❜ 

               LET IT BE A REMINDER , FN-2187 WAS DEAD . FINN HAD BURIED HIM , SO LONG AGO .    /     some parts of finn feel different , when they think back to the time where the world was different . visor visioned , the armor had been life and the only thing that they had lived for . filtered breath , filtered voice . a non person , a cog in the machine . finn breathes now , unfiltered dirty air . brown fingers scrub through hair , no longer cut to regulation lengths .
