not seeing a lot of people on here talking about ICE murdering another man yesterday. His name was Lorenzo Salgado Arajou. He was a Mexican man living in Huston Texas. He was killed at age 52 and lived the past 35 years here in the USA, and was in the process of obtaining a work permit. He was shot and killed during a traffic stop that ICE claims was part of a targeted operation, and claimed he was “weaponizing his vehicle”- the same claim ICE agents made when they shot and murdered Renee Good.
During the stop, Lorenzo had 3 coworkers with him in his truck who have all been taken into ICE custody.
His family described Lorenzo as a hardworking family man who didn’t deserve to be killed. All he wanted was to provide for his wife and see his sons become great people. His eldest son recognized his father by his cries and pleas when trying to identify who the victim was.
The Salgado Araujo family has set up a gofundme to help with funeral and legal costs, and to help keep their family supported since Lorenzo was the sole provider.

no orange isnt the sterotypical show of bravity where shes stoic and unaffected by any stress but that does not mean she isnt brave. to BE brave you must Have fear to move past, and THATS what orange is. shes fucking terrified-of rejection, of judgement, of mockery, and yet she continues to fight, to stand tall as she can and be loud. shes so brave. she hides herself away for her first appearance and yet she appears at all doesnt she? she cries when shes mocked and yet she keeps coming back doesnt she?
theres a similar sentiment with yellow, where i see people say he doesnt ACTUALLY embody justice, but i think, like orange, he very much Does, just in a less sterotypical way. having a strong sense of justice Does Not Mean you magically know wrong or right and have the perfect answers to any moral issue-yellow is regularly Wrong in his accusations, and yet he continues to pursue the truth and carry out what he believes is an appropriate punishment to fit the crime. having a strong sense of justice doesnt mean youre a perfect fucking lawyer omfg. yellow has an INCREDIBLY strong sense of justice and thats not negated by the fact rhat hes Wrong the same way autistic people w a strong sense of justice arent always magically right.
also aqua is in fact patient in the same way. just bc she doesnt like to stand still for a million years doesnt mean she isnt patient. shes just . a less traditional/sterotypical example of it. aqua is very clearly willing to spend a long time doing things that do not at all progress to her goal, she actively enjoys stalling and dillydallying she just doesnt like to spend that time doing the same thing. think of it like this, when youre waiting a long time for a dentist appointment, are you just. staring at the wall the whole time? does thar sound like the correct way to be patient? or would a better show of patience be someone who is willing and happy to occupy themselves while waiting as long as they need?
