Listening to this video and the topic made me think of the Philosophy and Opinions of Marcus Garvey, because in that book he says he got a lot of push back from Du Bois especially with the Liberia issue. It also made me wonder that could part of his (Du Bois) dislike of Garvey be because Washington and Garvey were going to meet? Could part of it also be because Garvey managed to rally more people than he could. I must admit I wasn't a fan of Du Bois after reading that book but I realise that was just a biased feeling.

This is something I have noticed while being here but I don't think it's just colonisation. Kenya is very Westernised at least in my opinion, it is still a very beautiful country and the people are quite friendly but you notice the distinction.
