I don’t feel comfortable being a silent public figure when there are so many facing adversity and hardships around the world or have no voices or no one sticking up for them.

I’m not necessarily shy or trying to be quiet, but I’m definitely not a loud person.

I’m just like everyone else. I’m young. I’m still learning. I do make mistakes but I try to recognize these mistakes and learn from them. I like to give everyone a fair chance and I take every opportunity that comes my way.

I enjoy staying home with friends more than going out. The other night, for example, my girlfriends and I stayed in listening to some ‘90s rap - my favorite kind. We were in the Hamptons and made it an all-Biggie weekend, all of his albums on repeat. I loved it.

That’s kind of where all my money goes. I’m going to be a very broke girl with a really great wardrobe.

What does friendship mean to you? I think as you grow older friendship becomes stronger than what it meant to you when you were younger. There is something so reassuring about not seeing someone for a long period of time and then being able to slip back into that comfort with each other like no time has passed at all. As actors, that is the nature of the work we do, staying on location for long periods of time and being apart from people who you are close to. It’s also nice to have friends that not only support you, but inspire you.
