As promised, today i show u guys about my own redesign for the characters in TFC, the main reason why i decided to do this because mostly i dont like the original designs in the game (not really "freak" and horror enough, 3 character take ref of commedia dell'arte even not good and nothing related to the maskes), also because i want to give myself a test in design characters too, its been awhile i didnt design anything.

First of all we have Pierrot, Pierrot is one of my favorite mask in commedia dell'arte, he not alway a "sad clown" like most of you guy would think of. He is sad, yes but its because his blind love, foolish and delusional, also, he is a mask representing people in circumstances where hope, love, and rights are stifled.

With that, i design him as an mad patient, who stucks in a straitjacket, trying to be free from it + the idea of "loving hands" cover his eyes and choked him (yet seem like he dont mind it). Also because Pierrot is a silent mask (most of the plays lol) so here he is muted, no legs just floating in silent eheheh Why he have so many arms? Well its for holding his "lover", hold them tight and adore them more and more, his love is somewhat extreme, always clinging to things that don't belong to him and constantly fearing the loss of the one he loves.

Next we have Harlequino, well here in the game i know they use the French version for the ref, yet i feel like it not good enough and this verison of him kinda like an asshole more than the Italy version XDDD So ye, i take the Italy version to redesign Harlequino (or should i said Arlecchino?).

Arlecchino's original from Divina Commediac, he is a demon name Alichino, yet later become a servant mask which is very silly, lazy, 100% have free will to do everything he want (most of the time is finding foods to eat and be alround womans), actors who play hiom often said he act like a cat or a monkey too. So here i use all of those information to design a demonic cat/monkey acrobatic who hungry for food and womans (i like him jumping alround and climbing on something, act funny while upside down more than just being a jester) :DD

And here is the Jester (man i want to calling him Court Fool more), the leader of the freaks, the most powerfull one!!

Here a fact: purple is the unlucky color for old days actor! But in the game is guy is purple, which is against the rule of no purple to actor. Yet i have an idea, great one, i turn him into an ominous fool/jester who bring bad luck to other "king"! Also as you can see i using the theme king and fool to design this guy as well, because he is the leader (the king) and also is a jester (the fool), for his mask, i use the 3 faces mask with 3 diffirent mask as a ref for his theme: Zanni the hungry servant, Magnifico the ruler and another haft face servant mask.

And here is the big Doctor, im sorry but i truthly dont like his color in the game, too bright too my eyes T-T So here i give him a new palette, with vulture theme to match his "hungry".

I really really feel boring to the normal plauge mask, its great, but too much plauge doctors that have the same mask and vibe, here i want to give him something diffirent! So i design the mask to match the vulture beak + a lil fuse with the toxic mask that breath toxic smokes (if you look closely to his "breathing tube" you can see its his mouths with teeh). I also give him a better design to fit the theme "mad doctor" too, and bird feet, because he is a huge bird EHHEHEHEEHEH

To the Ticket Taker, he is the one freak that can make me struggling a bit (i have to redesign him 3 times) due to his theme that i pick to redesign for him: Faceless mirror.

He have no face, no body as well, what you can see here is his shell, his mask is a broken mirror that stored his victims souls. I redesign him from what i can know about him in the game, specially is his power about mirror. In this case, he is everyone yet also nobody. His outfit is 100% base on real life ticker taker at circus and cinema, with a lil bit of flavors to make him more stand out and have his own "gentleman" vibe yet not against his ticket taker role~

Finally we have the fools/puppets of the circus, in the game Jester own lots of them, Ticket Taker also have one and everyone else could have one- Yet i feel like their design is annoying, not because they are not represent the freak own them but also because THEY ALL LOOK THE SAME (and why jester-like?)

Here i them each clothes/themes to represent their master/owner, not forgot to give them more charm hehehehe Also, they are victims that brainwashing/controlling, i like to think one day when they not usefull anymore they gonna be the freaks foods as well :v

Bonus freak: Colombina! Yes she didnt have offical design yet but i also want to try too, because why not uh?

Personaly i hate how Colombina in morden media usually being the weak one or just a girl that have too kind and pure (or silly). LOL NO!! NO NO NO NO SHE NOT LIKE THAT AT ALL!! For more context for who not into commedia dell'arte much: Colombina in Italy and French are diffirent but they share the same thing: "using others as pawns to satisfy one's own personal desires/satisfactions"

I know that in the game, she look like human alot and also an angel. You know what also can look like an angel and human but not both of them? Fallen angel. With this design, i play around with the fallen angel and sheep theme, i want she look more human-like, kind and pure like a sheep. Yet under that "mask" is a demon who fooling everyone to trust her then using them to satisfy her own "plan", to be angel again. Yes, Colombina is the most smart and powerful mask on the stage of commedia dell'arte, so here, i want to see her "power" to be use. Controlling the plot and fooling us with the other freaks!!

Due to recent events, both related and unrelated to the game, which require more of our attention, we will not be opening the askbox this weekend.

This is to give us more time that we need to focus on addressing those events with Neko so we can continue supporting him and the game!

Because the askbox will not be open, the current asks there will also not be deleted so we can continue to answer them for the remainder of this week and the next! We do plan on having the askbox back to being open on the weekends starting back on the 21st.

We love this community and want to help Neko do this right so he can create something enjoyable and lasting. Developing a game is hard enough work alone. Trying to balance that work with all the goings on... things you do and even don't know about, is very stressful and difficult for Neko.

Due to recent events, both related and unrelated to the game, which require more of our attention, we will not be opening the askbox this weekend.

So, actually no, the colors were chosen strategically, but each of them has at least one of the colors they like in their costume!

(I'm sure I've answered this in the past, but some older questions may not be very helpful because I decided to change something in the script >.>)

My favorite cookie to eat? Hm, that can be hard since my sweet tooth is so tempermental sometimes, but I’d say gingersnaps or any ginger-adjacent cookie!

I am an absolute SLUT for Anna’s Ginger Thins cookies and never can seem to find them when I’m grocery shopping (though admittedly I don’t do more than glance, I’m sure they’re available somewhere near me!) XD

Now if you’re talking about my favorite cookie from my girlfriend’s favorite game Cookie Run Kingdom that I continue to get lore about via fandom osmosis, that would be Pure Vanilla or Shadow Milk Cookie c:

And when it comes to Sun/Moon/Eclipse from FNAF my favorite is absolutely Moon— I love that he’s just a creature of a character and he’s so— (me internally: don’t say headcanon’d autistic don’t say headcanon’d autistic /silly)— quirky!

But for real, I love the DCA (daycare attendant) a lot, and that sub-fandom is where many lifelong friends have come from whom I am grateful for and adore every day ;w;
