My first laptop (near junior year in college, circa 1985). Modem = 300 baud (about 1/4 of 1 "k" -- slow enough to watch letters of words appear one-by-one from CompuServe, etc.); display = 8 lines by 40 characters (?); enough on-board storage for a few apps and a research paper of about 20 pages.
