The first step is always the most difficult.

These are two pictures of the city of Hangzhou (1 hour from Shanghai with hight-speed train). In this city the time seem to be faster than in the rest of the world because of its great growth. In every corner of the city is easy to see an under-construction building and every 10 palaces there is a crane at work. Hangzhou is now a 10.000.000′s people town and it’s about to become one of the most developped megalopolis in the world.

In chinese mythology the number eight is a symbol of good luck. Its importance is due to the ancient link to the legend of the “Eight Immortals”, a group of eight trascendent saints: Zhongli Quan, Lù Dongbin, He Xiangu: the woman, Li Tieguai: the poor, Zhang Guolao: the historian, Han Xiangzi: the young man, Cao Guojiu and Lan Caihe.
