February was Women in Horror Month, so I did an art challenge to celebrate some of my favorite spooky ladies. A painting a day, 4 previous pieces and 24 new pieces. Part of the proceeds of each painting will be donated to Women in Horror Month, an international grassroots initiative which encourages supporters to learn about and showcase the underrepresented work of women in the horror industries. All of the paintings are 3"×3" acrylic on canvas and available for purchase in my Etsy shop. 💕🦇💕

If you weren’t aware, In Fall of 2018 I put out a call to action on Tumblr for artists of any kind who fancied Cryptozoology to send in their works based on the most famous/well known cryptids! We had a great turn out and in a little over a month I received enough wonderful content to fill a 16 page Zine! I designed covers, numbered them and sent them out to everyone who so graciously pre-ordered it! People seemed to really like them so I thought it only made sense to try for another!

This time around the theme will be SIGHTINGS! Whether you ran into a Bigfoot during a hiking trip or you just really love Betty and Barney Hill and their UFO sighting stories I want to see your interpretations! Photographers, authors, digital artists, traditional artists, multimedia artists, all are welcome to submit to the project!

I absolutely love this community and I love being able to give these amazing artists a platform to showcase their fantastic works! I hope to be able to do so many more times if this goes well!
