I’m running an Introductory Animation Workshop with creative arts students this Saturday (August 20, 2016) for The School of Creative Arts Open Day at Melbourne Polytechnic’s Prahran Campus. I’ve rotoscoped and broken down some of the greatest dance gifs to their basic poses and we’re going to collaboratively design characters then MAKE THEM DANCE!!

New character! They’re called Rabbit Ears.

They’re a weird hare thing. With a tv in their chest that displays their heart. When they get close to and interact with sophonts that can understand speech, their tv displays a toothy mouth and they speak with it, they can’t speak though their own mouth. Which isn’t visible unless it’s fully open. Its mouth is full of incisors. It has the inner incisors of a horse, the “canines” are rabbit incisors, and their “molars” are all human incisors. If lost, they regrow like a shark. They have retractable antennae that act as whiskers except for things that aren’t visible in the light spectrum (like radiowaves, etc). They’re a true omnivore and do hunt things. Their bite will hurt.
