Someone left a tomato in our office and nobody bothered to remove it so instead of starting to rot it started to sprout. Since nobody wanted it there and it started to freak/gross people out I took it home.

I know nothing about planting tomatoes but i gave it a try. I divided it into smaller chunks, hoping that at least one sprout per chunk would survive and that those who hadn’t sprout yet maybe would.

This is them two weeks later. Some have died, some started to thrive, then died. A few new ones shot up.
