🐰(HIATUS)

Ok this was my first ever bts concert I was hecka excited and nervous. I’ve been a fan since boy in luv was released and I’ve always wanted to go to their concerts and I DID! I was lucky enough to get GA AND SOUNDCHECK! And I’m usually known for my bad luck so this was super shocking to me lmao

I went with my cousin and we arrived at staples center at around 6:30am and the line for ga was already SO. LONG. I felt my chances of being up front at least 2nd or 3rd row from the barricades were so slim by then :( I really wanted to see my boys up close with some chances of interacting with them.

I was in the unofficial line for ga until 10ish which was when we were finally able to enter the official line to get our wristbands. We got our wristbands by 11 and found out that we were 703-704 IN LINE. YALL it was right then and there that I lost all hope to be up close. After that I went in the soundcheck for my wristband. By the time I got out it was 12pm. I thought I would be around the 400s but I was 228!

NOW THIS IS WHERE IT GETS INTERESTING. We walked around for awhile bc I wasn’t allowed to go back in line for soundcheck until 1. We decided to go use the bathroom which was located across the street in the parking lot for the Microsoft theater. But before we crossed there was a security check to the left of us for big hit staff and all that jazz. And there, we saw two black fancy cars that were tinted waiting to be checked and parked. My cousin was thinking that it could be bts and I was like “nah no way that can’t be” mind you that there weren’t a lot of fans in this area for some reason except us and some tourists passing by.

The staff stopped us to let 3 more cars come in and I try to look closely to see if inside were the members and saw one guy with a hat and sunglasses. After they passed it only hit me that there was a chance that it was bts but I just let it pass me.

SOUNDCHECK. Ok I felt this was probably my favorite moment. More than the concert itself bc it felt more intimate. As soon as I got in I felt super nervous and my legs were weak. Since there were only 500 winners, there was so much space. I decided to stand in front of the catwalk where I was somewhat third row bc there was only two girls in front of me. Then at 2:30, the lights dimmed a little and I here NJ go “how’s everybody doing?!” And I FREAK. NJ comes out first with the rest of the members following after.

NJ-wore beanie and sunglasses (literally matches the description of the person I saw in that car omg) and white long sleeve

JH-same as NJ but a beige long sleeve (what he wore in his live)

YG-Black cap and hoodie

JM-hair pushed back, sunglasses, and black long sleeve

SJ & JK-Black oversized tees

TH-purple dress shirt

JM, NJ, JH, and SJ came to my side the most. Kookie barely came to my side :( BUT when he did, there was a moment when we made eye contact (or I’d like to believe lol) and I looked away real quick yo he made me feel so embarrassed. Jimin squated down on my side. LITERALLY RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. And I wave super hard at him and he waved back! He looks a the girl at the very front of me and mouths “ily” and walks away. SHE SO LUCKY SJDUSAJBD

They sang INU, RUN, and MIC DROP. In between they would talk a little bit. Tae did that thing where he would stare at everyone in the crowd. Kook did the same too. Jin did his little hand kisses omg and jhope was literally the CUTEST. Yoongi was the quietest of them like he kinda just looked/acted like he was just there to do what he needed to do but idrk he didn’t really come to my side :(. But from what I learned from this experience is that JIMIN IS FREAKIN HOT he looked soooo good that day I just can’t.

By 3 we were out and I went straight back to the ga line. By 4ish we were inside. We slightly rushed to the floor and by then there were already so many ppl in front of the diamond stage :(. We still went to the left side of that stage but we were in the back :(. I was sad but luckily the view was still good.

The concert started at 6 and bts started off with Idol at the main stage. By now all the fans were going insane and everyone kept moving. I literally could not see the main stage. After a while I didn’t mind and just sang along to the songs while looking at the big screen.

The first time they use the diamond stage was for JH’s Just Dance and we went CRAZY. I got a good view of his upper body only but I was totally ok with that.

I tried recording only some of my favorite parts of songs/whenever they were in front of me and UNFORTUNATELY my phone ran out of storage a couple of times during the concert and I was pissed bc I had to delete stuff during the concert.

Throughout the show I felt that I didn’t fully appreciate bts’s presence. Like it didn’t really feel like they were there. I wasn’t at all feeling like I wanted to cry and I was kinda disappointed at how I was reacting to everything. I did enjoy the concert. It was super fun! But tbh I felt like I was more worried about recording things and also trying to see everything :/. I feel like it was bc I was GA that I couldn’t really feel the emotions. If could go to the next tour, I’d definitely want P1 but I’m still glad I got to experience GA :)
