and he's so kind when he explains things to you, he does not want you to feel stupid for not understanding, he is as gentle as possible

he never loses track of time, he wants to make sure you eat your 2 meals a day and a good breakfast

like an assassin has to strategically plan their attack and it must take some logic and maths or something idk y'all I never killed anyone

all you could think about was to get back into his warm embrace. you had a tiring day and you were crying in your car from exhaustion. it was pouring outside, your hair was messy and matted while your clothes were dripping. you could feel the car seat being uncomfortably wet. finally seeing your boyfriend's japanese styled estate was the relief you needed, you would soon get what you craved the most. you got out of the car, your limbs worn out. you did not even find the strength to call toji to warn him of your arrival. you softly knocked on his door, your eyes puffy and red from all the tears.
toji, unaware of your visit could not help but sigh, he hates visitors. but when he saw your red puffy eyes staring up at him, his gaze softened.
"princess, what are you doing here ? what's wrong ? you've been crying." he asks as he puts an arm around your waist to lead you in.
"work was SO BAD, toji. I thought this day would never end and then it started pouring and I got drenched and I was tired and I got touch deprived so I thought I'd come see you and I just- sorry." you rambled, you could not manage to deal with all the bottled up emotions of the day and your words just randomly came out of your mouth without making any sense. that was one of your habits that Toji found so obnoxiously cute.
"come in, I was running a bath anyway. I'll bring some clothes so you can change out of that." he gently removed your soaked jacket of off you and you could finally feel the warmth of his home. he made a fire, and you could not wait to sit in front of it under one of his soft blankets.
"I'll be playing video games in the living room, find me there when you're done" he drops you off at his personal bathroom (his house is huge) and kisses your forehead before giving you space to relax from your exhausting day.
the water was perfectly tempered, warm but not too hot, warm enough to soothe your tense muscles. although, you were quick to get out of the bathtub, you needed to feel toji's embrace. he left you a pair of grey sweatpants, identical to the ones he was wearing now obviously with no shirt on, he likes to show off AND HE'S NEVER COLD ??? and one of his fleece-lined black hoodies, so comfy and soft to be in !
you find him on the couch, focused on his video game. you hear the sounds of the gunshots from the other end of the room and the swears along with his missed shots. you make your way towards him and he pauses the game as soon as you're in his sight.
"feeling better, pretty girl ?"
"much better" you say with a smile, laying your head on his thigh. he puts a hand on your cheek and gently strokes it, watching you with adoring eyes before returning to his game.
"damn it, I died again. There are enemies spawning everywhere I can't see everything for fuck's sake" he reloads once again and is seemingly pissed.
"watch out, you have three enemies behind you" he is quick to listen to your advice and ends up passing the chapter he has been failing for about two hours now. "see you've made it, you should play video games with me more often ! we make a good team !" you sweetly tell him with a grin on your face.
"yeah we certainly do, angel" he confirms, pecking your lips.
