Frankie Sinatra right on the floor surrounded by mostly older patrons at the Riobamba Club in New York City in early 1943. Up to this point his audience was mostly teenage girls and young women. It was said that Sinatra just mesmerized these patrons. Sinatra did shows there at all hours. Even shows that started at 1:00AM. Standing room most every night. Later towards the end of 1943 when Sinatra’s engagement was over he first met Dean Martin who was booked there at that time.
